There's a museum with the most atrocious (and often hilarious) English translations you're likely to ever see in Thailand, and the actual butterfly garden, which is not very large, with a few species of butterflies.

It's nothing special and the entrance fee is rather steep for the experience.

A garden in the hillside with a net. Some butterflies. Saw a couple of nice ones -outside. Staf appeared somewhat tired and maintenence was not exactly a priority.

300 bath is way too much for this place. Got entrance for 200, still not a very good deal. Try a 100 or skip it.

Even if there can be seen few butterflies, this place is absolutely not worth to visit. And definately it is extremely overprised for the attraction provided.
I would not suggest this as place to visit while on Koh Samui.

Dont go there! Waste of money. 300 baht for an abandoned Garden with only 2 species. Really not worth it!
Garden is also very small and in 5 min. you have Seen it all. Also Lots of dead butterflies on the ground.

Two varieties of butterfly in a small garden enclosure. Way too expensive for so little. Wasted time walking up beyond the enclosure and it was just a garden. Tried to eat lunch with their horrid menu but told no food service
