Great location, nice big room and jacuzzi, and excellent customer service—probably the best in Thailand!!! Very friendly staffs and relaxing atmosphere. Don’t know about swimming in the ocean, you should call them to find out. We couldn’t do it during our stay.
Memorable experience nonetheless!

Lovely family friendly hotel until they decide to hire DJ at 5:30pm till late and play club music on the beach when families are trying to enjoy the sunset.
Read the room and look at your hotel clientele …there is no one sitting at your hotel beach because it’s terrible thumping noise and ruins everyone’s evening …can be heard the whole way along the beach in fact. Couldn’t escape it. Completely wrong and l felt so sorry for the people having a beautiful meal on the beach. If you want to play that music your on the wrong beach.

This place is a beautiful jungle paradise right on the beach. The staff is so attentive, and the restaurant is surprisingly good and affordable given its location.

We got an oil massage at the spa here too, it was more expensive than elsewhere in Thailand but still affordable, and it was the best massage either of us has ever had, including the Thai massage we got in Chiang Mai a few days earlier

Truly amazing, we will be back even though it’s on the other side of the planet

Also there was an error with our booking and we somehow ended up with a booking for the wrong dates, but they were so helpful and worked with us and with Agoda to get us rooms for the right dates without an additional charge, on the same day we were checking in

Just arrived for 12 night's. Room really big,traditional features. Maybe a little dated but still lovely and clean. Looking forward to checking out the hotel further tomorrow

We had to leave early due to an unexpected emergency and they told us they would refund our money but never did. Now they won't respond to any communication and we're out thousands of dollars. The hotel was also very dirty and the doors to the hotel rooms don't seal properly so there are constantly mosquitos in the room.

The worst hotel at Thailand.
Do yourself a favor and take another hotel at Koh Samui.

Don’t know from where to start:
We arrived 6 people (3 rooms) at 17:00
No one meet us at the parking, we take all the 8 bags by self, then we wait 50 minutes to check in.
The reservation was for our Honeymoon and we says it before we came , they decided ignore from the request.
In one room request for 2 bads for childrens they ignore and says they don’t have now.
After a hour we arises to the rooms:
1) all the rooms HOT like hell with 40 disagrees
2) old stinky smell
3) A million of mosquitoes
4) the fridge not working
5) the coffee machine not working
6) the kettle not working, when we called to the reception they say that we can go to the bar near the pool and take from there hot water.
7)half of the electricity sockets not working.
8) the Wi-Fi work very SLOW (450 kbyts) and only at the toilet.
9) the toilet is flooded and stuck water.
10) the shower is terrible, full of scale and the water (4/5 lines) splashes everywhere.
11) two lamps not working at the toilet and bad room.
12) Al the furniture are old and full of dust.
13) the hotel and the beach is neglected and not clean.
14)terrible breakfast- nothing to eat. Only eggs coffee and fruits.
15)the jacuzzi broken and not work, even cannot put hot water.
16)at the morning no one change our towels or glass.

And of course at the morning wait for us the first friend - biggest spider.
And at the evening the second friend - centipede.

We finally had to leave and move to another hotel.

It’s not 5 stars hotel and not 4, maximum 3

I have no idea why recent reviews say they’re understaffed. Their staff was everywhere and very kind. Yes, there’s less people there due to COVID. That’s everywhere.

The grounds are very naturally beautiful and their beach cabanas are perfect. The beach is on a shallower sandbar, so the waves are mellower, which I preferred. The pool is long and winding. The rooms are huge and are like suites the way they’re divided. I much prefer the ornate Thai wood style to a modern counterpart. The spa is closed but there’s a beachfront spa next door with the best massage I received in Thailand for 300 baht.
The bar restaurant are open and super cheap for what you get.
What a deal! Beautiful, older hotel.
