This classic Thai style restaurant with bamboo seats has a pretty nice location in the middle of Lamai and staff was friendly and did their best with what they had...the food we had was not something I would want to order again. I pushed my luck and ordered the beef stroganoff...what ever it was, it was not a beef stroganoff. The baked crab meat with mushroom was crab shells with not much crab in it and it came out in a pineapple and there was nothing in the menu about that, I can not eat pineapple! Prices are fare considering being locked on the main street.

Came here with parents and really enjoyed the food. Service was great. We were planning on ordering four dishes, but when we asked if three was enough they said yes. We ended up finishing them all. :)

Good Price (70-130thb for Spagetti), big Size and good Sprite and Shakes. 5* ????

By and large a good place.
Food was nice, well priced, cheap beer. Not amazing food, but portions are a good size.
Service was slow, even by Thai standards.
We enjoyed the experience and the lady who runs the place is quite friendly.
It’s very kid friendly, and we made a mess with a couple of little ones there and they were very cool about that.
Come in and give it a shot.

Went to Kung Yai restaurant today for lunch, restaurant is clean and well presented with friendly service. Meal was yummy and it came out quickly. We ordered spring rolls, fried rice with chicken, and sweet and sour chicken; washing it down with a large Chang beer for me and Coconut milkshake for my wife. Prices where good and the friendly staff quickly cooled us done with overhead fans.

Looks like a very nice restaurant, with very nice chairs, but they have no skills to cook. The soups were so so while the main dishes were unacceptable. Some were over cooked, some had no taste. There are lots of much better places around....
