Very nice budget hotel. Would rate it very good value for money. Rooms are a bit old and faded but in fairly good shape, nice and clean, and very spacious.

Quite close to the beach and nearby to a number of supermarkets. Would recommend if you're on a budget.

Clean and big rooms. Really nice and helpfull staff. It was definitely one of the cleanest accomodation in 8 month Asia travel. 3 min walk to the beach. We enjoyed our stay here 2 times and would come back again.

A really nice and cozy Villa to stay in koh-samui, Thailand. It is managed by an elder couple who were really nice to us. We also got bike on rent from the hotel itself. It's close to few famous beaches. Veg Food is not available there but you can easily find Veg Indian food of super quality in nearby Beach area.

Good value , well maintained and nice staff.

The villas are particularly nice but often booked months in advance. Western TV chanels are really basic, limited to 2 chanels but unlike lots of other hotels in Lamai the internet works really well throughout the whole resort so no dramas. Right next to the beach. One sad point to note is the plastic on the beaches is horrendous first thing in the morning before they clean it up and the last 2 walks we took on the beach we had tar on our feet which we had to wash off. Sad.

One last point to make! Do not confuse Buathong place with Buathong House Resort. Right next to each other sharing the same entrance! One is basic, old, badly maintained, and quite expensive and the other is Buathong place. The good one.

I had the opportunity to stay here this year. We would certainly come back here. The entire property was spotless regardless of the time of day. All in all a good hotel in a good location with great transport connections. Plenty of small thai style eateries within minutes walking distance.
