We had a wonderful 4 night stay in a private villa at this resort. The villa was phenomenal, with a separated living area and bedroom. The living area had a place for your luggage, a small desk, and two chairs while the bedroom had one of the most comfortable beds we had experienced in Thailand, along with a large mirror over a desk/stool. The bathroom was spacious with a large tub (with shower head), and just outside was a private outdoor shower with a rain shower head. The pool was a short walk down the hill and stairs; the pool and the lounging chairs were both extremely nice. The restaurant food was decent, but relatively overpriced (50 baht for bottled water). The drinks at the poolside bar were a bit weak, but still delicious, and well worth the price during the two happy hours throughout the day. The ocean water is quite a ways off the beach, but the view is still nice. The location of the resort is a bit secluded - it is great if you are looking for something quiet and cozy with many of the comforts of home. You can rent a motorbike through the resort, which can get you to Lamai beach or local food in no time. Getting there from Nathon Pier will cost about 300-500 baht on average. Overall, I would certainly recommend this resort.
