Our favorite hotel out of many great ones after traveling 3 months in Thailand and Laos. The traditional Lana style buildings, the lush gardens, the incredible pools all make this resort special. But it's the staff in both the lobby and the restraunt that really make this place shine. At breakfast, if you have an empty plate, they quickly whisk it away so you can go use a clean one for another visit to the buffet. The food choices are good with a nice blend of Western and Thai dishes. There are 5 or 6 employees each morning in the breakfast buffet and each one of them greets you with a pleasant smile, a traditional wai, and hello in English if that is your language.

The rooms are spacious, spotless and everything works well. Super comfortable beds and pillows and we really appreciated the drying rack out on the balcony. The maid service is incredible.

The rates are very competitive for a luxury resort and if you aren't staying here when you are in Lamai - you are making a mistake.

Very good hotel with direct access to the pool. Very recommended for honeymoon holidays. Not far away from the sea.
Very funny: the tiles in the hallway tot the rooms are the same as ours at home, but just another color.
Very friendly people, ready at your service.
At 4 km of Overlapstone which we did by foot, and directly in the center.
Very recommended.

The staffs are very accommodating, helpful, and polite. They are WONDERFUL to work with. If there is 10+ rating on the staff, that is what I would have given them. The front deskMs. Ja-ja (my favorite staff) speaks and understand English very well. The staff have a very good sense of humor too.

The entire staff makes sure the guests are happy and satisfied. They are always willing to assists however they can. We asked Ms. Ja-ja about the mailing service and she offered to mail the stuff for us.

Ms. Ja-ja also helped us booked our Island tour. There was minor glitch on the tour (not her fault). The tour that we booked was for Koh Tao but when we arrived at the departure site, the tour guide decide to switch or should I say convinced us and other customers that Koh Tao is not possible for that day. The tour company decided to go to Angthong National Park. Since we are already there and most customers agreed, we just decided to go with flow.

Anyway, the following day Ms. Ja-ja asked us how the tour was. We told her what happened. She was very apologetic and said she did not know and that the tour company switched things on us. She said that the tour company should have informed her ahead of time, so she can in turn inform her guests. She immediately, call the tour company to find out why. I think she set them straight in a Thai polite kind of way.

The breakfast at this place has a lot of variety bread, pancakes, French toast, cereal, fruits, pastries, eggs, yogurt and new Thai dishes everyday. We’ve been to a number of hotels in Thailand and Am Samui ranks No.1 on our list. The staff takes the dirty dishes off your table immediately.

The room is clean and spacious. The hotel itself is spotless. It had two swimming pools to relax and chill.

The location is a walking distance to small night market. They have limited stall but the food is good (pizza, barbecue, shake, churros, barbecued fish). The beach is about 50 meters. There are a number of restaurants around to choose from as well. I love that it is close to Big C market where I can get snackies and water. There is a gym close by if you feel like working out for 200 baht. There is a wet market and Tesco/Lotus’s but it could be quite a bit of a walk maybe 15 - 20 minutes. Lotus's have a food court with good Thai food and coffee shop. The food ranges from around 60 - 120 baht. Make sure you bring the right change and no big bills. The stall will give you CASH CARD as change and will cost you an extra 10 baht (.26 cents) just for the card that can only be used in the food court. Not really sure how it works. Just bring small bills if you DO mind paying the extra 10 baht (.26 cents). The vendors speaks very little or no English at all.

Anyway, my overall rating for this hotel is EXCELLENT. From the staff, location, facility, and value for your money you cannot go wrong with this hotel.

I'll be coming back for sure, excellent location right in the centre of everything yet quiet and peaceful.
2 pools in vastly differing styles, we first had a pool access room on the more modern pool with the swim up bar, this was really nice however the balcony was completely enclosed and had no sun, from there however you could climb out and into the pool, this was more of an obstacle course but, pool access direct from the room was achieved, even if advanced acrobatics were necessary.
The room was quite noisy, chair dragging and heavy footsteps from upstairs etc so we changed to a pool side room by the other more traditional pool for a couple days which was much better.
I did think it was slightly expensive but not overpriced.
Breakfast was great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay our room had a large balcony with a bath tub. There are two pools to chose from with one with a swim up bar. The staff were all lovely and very helpful. The hotel was in a good location with plenty of restaurants and shops at the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again.

Located in the middle of lemai this hotel remains a quiet retreat. The pool areas are great and a little quirky and the rooms are clean and well maintained.
I had the room with the bath on the balcony and the only negative thing to he said is the taps are in the wrong end.
The bars are only a 2 minute walk in either direction and the quiet and scenic beach about 200 yards to the rear of the hotel
I've stayed here now twice and the staff are always warm, welcoming and helpful.

Our stay truly felt like a vacation! Very kind and friendly staff with good English. Everything was accessible from the pool to the beach and even night market and other stores. Breakfast buffet includes variety of apetizers to desserts and drinks (hot and cold). The rooms are also clean and bright. They would clean your room, change towels and re supply you with water bottles everyday during your stay. The best one yet, the pools are designed with tropical feels and comfortable seats great for tanning. They have rooms connected to the pool right at the back deck (highly recommend). Must say the location is just perfect. The mood is serene and relaxing. Overall, I just want to stay here longer.
