It's not on the beach but you can walk just 10 mins to the beach and the mall just nearby. The market on Thursday and Saturday I love . The resort has big garden full of birds and squirrels which are lovely for me. The pool with bar. Not busy these day and the price are good. The staffs are friendly and very helpful. I'd recommended

We had a great stay at the resort. Jun, the manager, went out of his way to get all the guests together to go to some of the bars and beach clubs. This made it a fun and enjoyable stay. I highly recommend it and will come again.

I have very much enjoyed my stayed at Alpha Gay Resort in Koh Samui. Jun, is very kind and considerate as a manager. I quickly bonded with him and other guests. We went out to a cabaret show and the local gay bar Pride. I am traveling solo and have made many connections and friends staying here. You won't regret booking here. The rooms are very nice and for the price very fare. The pool is very nice as well.

Still gearing up to recover from
Covid impacts, a number of maintenance issues around the resort and what seems to be a lack of manpower (two guys pull all this off).

The above said, it hits the spot as a 3 star hotel, good gay ambiance and welcoming host “Jun”.

I was a little hesitant about booking a room at Alpha to be fair, some of the reviews were definitely concerning. All fears washed away as soon as I got in touch with Jun, the hotel manager, he could not have been more obliging and accommodating. I think people forget that many countries suffered greatly during the 2-3 years of covid, and for a town based on tourism, Koh Samui took a big hit to the economy. It’s true, the place needs a little love and attention but certainly nothing that would put me off staying. I’m a solo traveler and Jun went out of his way to make sure I felt included in all the social activities, I had a spacious clean room set in lush tropical gardens surrounded by a great bunch of diverse international guests. I met some awesome guys, had some great party nights and beautiful relaxing days. I loved the location, a short walk to all the good stuff on offer and would totally recommend Alpha to anyone who’s listening… big thanks to Jun and also to the lovely Maik for making my time there one to remember ox September 2022

I stayed at Alpha a couple of nights while visiting Koh Samui, the experience was great, and everyone working at the hotel were super friendly and welcoming; they showed me around the island and made sure I always had why I needed. The room was clean and modern, and the bed was very comfortable.

It was a shame that I couldn’t enjoy pool parties and events due to COVID, but I will for sure come back to see a more party environment in a near future hopefully! Thank you Jun and the rest of the team x :)
