Got my open water cert here in May 2022. The team is super friendly and very professional. I experienced some ear issues on my first dive which they helped me through. Rory is an amazing instructor, I always felt super safe diving with him. Would love to go back some day!

Super professional and fun at the same time. When I started the open water diver course I was convinced I would not be able to do it. Thanks to the team at Phoenix and especially our super instructor Carmen I got over my fears, had super control by the end and had great fun at the same time! It’s an amazing team that you can trust. Thank you, guys! ❤️ Also, Garfield, the local cat, is adorable ????

absolutely wonderful experience with pheonix divers! James the manager was very responsive and quite helpful in setting up a fun dive and the advanced course for me! My fun dives were excellent and well lead by Lea who is a great guide.
For my advanced course the dive Master Dan was by far one of the most calm and funny people i’ve met. He has a wealth of knowledge about Koh Tao’s reefs and marine life, he was extremely balanced and professional during a very stormy and stressful situation as well as helping me fine tune my buoyancy and fin skills. several other employees were present for most dives and were a pleasure to be around!

highly highly recommend pheonix divers to anyone looking to experience diving for the first time or continue there diving career. 10/10

Loved diving with phoenix! I did my rescue diver course with Steve and couldn’t help but come back to do my deep/wreck/nitrox specialty with him too! Steve is so extremely knowledgeable and was an awesome instructor. He was also so reassuring and I felt like I was in such good hands when taking on the challenging rescue diver course. The rest of the phoenix team was great to hangout with as well and James was super welcoming, easy going and helpful with planning out my courses, accommodation, etc.

I had so much fun diving with phoenix, they’ve got great vibes! I would definitely recommend diving with them! Their shop is also located right on Sairee Beach, their boats leave straight from their shop, and there’s also adorable dogs around!

I could not recommend this place enough, I had a wonderful experience from start to end! I did my open water and my instructor Dan was honestly amazing. As my first diving experience I was a tiny bit scared (and not gonna lie I was very nervous about the 18 meters dives) but Dan was so professional, calm, passionate and yet hilarious that I came out of it very confident and super enthusiastic about diving again. Had I had more time I would have definitely done my advanced with him cause he’s honestly that awesome!
The whole team at Phoenix is just wonderful. They make you feel at home and they all go above and beyond to make sure you are having a memorable experience.. I cannot wait to be back!!
(Probably the most affordable open water course out there which is definitely an added bonus :))

Cannot recommend this dive shop enough! ????14/10 amazing team and operation — the whole crew was absolutely top notch.

I was nervous about getting my open water cert, so fit and a solid vibe check were super important to me. After chatting with a handful of other dive shops in Koh Tao, Phoenix stood out for how supportive and relaxed-yet-conscientious they were. Bell was an amazing instructor—super attentive, patient and just the right amount of chill. James and Rory were also really great—helping to schedule my course with our time constraints and answering all of my questions. If you’re on the fence about getting scuba certified, Phoenix is ???? the spot to do it.

Can’t wait to go back and dive with this crew again!

Wow these guys are just absolute legends. I've been trying to get my wife to try diving for over a decade now, and Phoenix finally made it happen. From the first interaction with James in the front office, she was so at ease and felt great about doing her first dive with them. They are so professional, so relaxed, so reassuring, absolutely no pressure at all. Her instructor Bell was incredible, so gentle and supportive and exactly what she needed for her first dives. She loved it so much she ended up booking a whole course and got her certification with Bell. I did six great dives around Koh Tao and out to Chumpon pinnacle and was super impressed with the safe and smooth operation that Rory runs. Also absolutely loved diving off of their giant pink boat. We will 100% be sending all of our friends and family to Koh Tao to dive with Phoenix! Huge thank you to Bell, James and Rory for the wonderful experience. Hope to be back again soon!
