Solid local restaurant focused on Thai cuisine right next to the beach. Menu is rather classic, no surprise nor nothing very special. Snapper Fish was good (it could be bigger though). Young mango salad was very good. Noodles alright. Portions are just right. Prices are very reasonable.

Lovely place. Placed just at the beach. I went there twice but I was so hungry I didn’t take many pictures. Refreshing fruit smoothies best in the area and good choice of local food for good price. Appetizers are of the size of the main dish. On the pic fried rice, omelette and shrimp tempura. Fish cakes and watermelon smoothie.

***THE FOOD IS EXCEPTIONAL!!! ***
Family Kitchen restaurant is located a few metres down from Ban's Diving Resort, so in a buzzy area with great fire shows, music etc.
The sunset views and sea breeze makes this place special.
However, it is the food that makes people keep coming back. There is an excellent variety of authentic Thai dishes. All come in generous portions and no skimping on the seafood and meat servings.
The fish cakes are divine, as is the papaya salad, the penang curry... The list is endless.
The coconut smoothie is delicious!!
Toetoe and his wife run a tight ship. He speaks very good English and is super friendly.
I urge you to come and try for yourself... You'll come back for more :)

Really nice place for meal! The fish was so tasty (and not that expensive for 300 Baht), the waiters were so kind and friendly. I can recommend!

Amazing food and amazing prices right on the beach! It's a few baht more per dish than some other similar places but it's worth every penny for the location. Best massaman curry on the island, and lots of great vegetarian options. The sweet and sour is incredible, and the mango shakes are massive and delicious, perfect after a day of diving.

This restaurant is so tasty and the food is well priced. They serve different types of thai food like curries, noodles, vegetables, etc. I am vegetarian and they had so many delicious options to choose from. I loved the food so much that I came back the next day haha. Thanks guys!

Was a great meal with friendly staff and a wonderful view. To drink, had a mango smoothie which was very reasonably priced and got a pint of it! Satay chicken skewers to start were a delight (were so yummy I couldn’t wait to take a the photo) and had the fried chicken cashewnut and chicken massaman curry for mains - all delicious! For a reasonably priced beachside meal Family Kitchen is the one! ????????
