We stayed in Kupu Kupu for 3 nights and loved every second of it! At first we booked the Sunset Pool Villa, but luckily we were offered a room upgrade for free. Our villa was huge, the bed super comfy and everything looked really nice.
The price included both breakfast and dinner, so we actually never left the premises during our stay. The food was delicious, with plenty of different options and big portions. The French toast for breakfast was one of the best French toasts we have ever had.
Customer service was just excellent - everybody was friendly, helpful and the room service came twice per day. We'd especially like to send our gratitude to the guy who had come from Kupu Kupu Bali and whose name we sadly have forgotten. He made the effort to come and talk to all the guests every morning and see if everything is perfect. He also gave some good recommendations and went the extra mile in every way.
Since the hotel is in progress of being renovated and built, the only downside was that the gym was a bit too basic (seemed like it was in a temporary room). Other than that everything was amazing and it was actually the only hotel on the island, where we did not have a fluctuating water temperature from hot to cold and so on.
Definitely recommended if you're okay to spend a little bit more money to pamper yourself!
