Take a moment and honour the leadership of a beloved King of the Thai Kingdom, King Rama V (also known as King/ Prince Chulalongkorn). A very wise and benevolent man who abolished slavery, saved Thailand from colonisation and initiated its modernisation. Take a walk from here along Sairee Beach and enjoy the amazing sunsets!

Nice small park near Sairee Beach. Clean, and a nice place for some photos

Directly on the beach, you can pass by, the statue is ordinary but the view and sunset is stunning.

If your in the area you may as well take time out and take a look.
As everything we visited in Thailand it needs a good clean up.

It's a cool rock formation/shrine commemorating King Rama Vs visit to Koh Tao in 1899.
