Absolutely beautiful hotel for those in need of luxury for a couple of nights! The views are the best on the island for sure. Some people have complained about the stairs but it’s part of the overall aesthetic in my opinion. Being able to walk down and swim to shark bay is more than worth it - I saw turtles! Plus, the hotel has comfy beds which is rare in Thailand ☺️☺️

The Jamahkiri hotel is special, super long stairs to access to the bungalows, and a bit isolated, if you want to explore you will need to rent a bike, or rely on the 2 shuttles per day. We were focus to obtain the Open Water, so we stayed in the hotel. Restaurant is great, nice team managing and after 5, 6 times lunch, dinner and breakfast they make you feel very comfortable. Swimming pool is great. Rooms a bit old, but comfy. Ideal formula is to get it with diving package as the hotel has its own marina and boat. Also snorkeling is great in Shark Bay.

Beautiful beautiful resort. They have a beautiful pool but the best pool is Shark Bay directly in front! The hotel has access straight into the ocean. Grab your goggles and just go for it! There is an amazing snorkeling situation out front. I went every day. You see soooo many beautiful fish, I also saw turtles and a shark! The water is insanely perfect. The hotel had a very nice breakfast view and good food (a la cart). Don’t miss the pool bar for the happy hour! ฿180 cocktails. The rooms are super clean and comfortable. The resort is about 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the Island but Jamahkiri offers a free shuttle a few times daily so take advantage of that! Everything was perfect. You can’t beat the view and secluded quiet location????

Spent 4 nights here and never wanted to leave this gorgeous resort. Good food, friendly services. Our villa is at great location and reef sharks could be seen from our balcony. Motorbiking, snorkeling and atmosphere were just remarkable

Stayed in their cheapest room and it was absolutely amazing. The view from our balcony was breathtaking, the staff was great, food wonderful and the location is beautiful. Yes, there is a lot of stairs, naturally since it’s right there on the cliffs, you can’t get a view without height. Extra cred to Yeen (unsure of spelling :)), amazing service every day.

Such a special place to stay , in an amazing location if you love snorkelling - we saw turtles, sharks and more and could just step off the marina outside the hotel. A special mention to the staff and attentive service. Mr Nice was so helpful arranging and recommending spots and trips, snd even arranged to send a forgotten teddy bear by ferry to our next place! The food, pool and general atmosphere was superb!

Great hotel, service was above perfect the staff are very helpful and they help you with everything you need, you can contact lobby through WhatsApp/line/phone easily for everything.
Views from the hotel are amazing and you can enjoy it from your room or just jump in the water for snorkeling.
We got to see a turtle from our kayak that we rented from the hotel's marina.

The hotel is very isolated and if you are looking to go out partying in the night you have to take a taxi for 400baht each way.
There is one restaurant outside the hotel 5 minutes walk if you do not want to spend a lot of money in the hotel's restaurant.
The hotel does not include vat and service in the menu which is really annoying.

The hotel has a lot of stairs so if you are not fit it will be a little difficult going up and down all the time from the pool to room to restaurant.

I would recommend taking a boat for a day from the marina for a tour around the island, ask the reception it was a great day tour!
