Maybe 3 years ago okay, but completely inhabitable. The bathroom covered in mold with the sink falling a part and tiles poking out just asking to cut yourself. Aircon room, however not working properly and both pillows covered in mold. (Black!!!!). Tried to politely leave and was shown another room with same issues. Doesn't match the pictures online for "double room". There was no bed on concrete but instead a wobbly steel frame. Would have stayed if it weren't for the mold issue on the pillows. No refund either. For a common traveller that understands living on a budget, just unimpressed to think they are okay putting people in these type of rooms.

Awful, 4 men travelling Asia, booked 2 rooms. To be told on entry there was only 1 room, leaving 4 men to share 1 double bed, with no aircon and a fan that doesn't work. I will never be staying again!!!!

Me and my husband had a private room for 230b/night. Nice small room with air condition and toilet with shower. We got towels and toilet paper. Bed was not so comfortable but after puting down the bed and sleeping just on the mattres was good. We stayed 4 nights. Cheapest hostel on the island, water for free.

If your really looking for a bargain than this place is worth it. Came out to about 200 baht a night for mixed dorm. The bed you get is in a good size capsule room with a curtain (nice privacy). The drawbacks were the internet cuts out during peak hours, the room got quite hot, and the bathroom wasn't the cleanest. I'd personally would opt to pay 50 or 60 baht more a night and stay at another hostel, but again if your trying to save it's fine.

Pros
This place is great value for money. If you get a bottom bunk.
It’s like you have a private room because it’s a big cement slab with a mattress, enough space to keep your belongings, power point, light and curtain.
Place was always cleaned and well maintained
Separate bathroom sections for men and women
Locker provided
Smooth checkin
Walking distance to the pier so you don’t have to pay for any transport to the pier and back
Lots of great and cheap places to eat around
Sairee Beach is 20-30min walk

Cons
If you are short and get the top bunk, be prepared for death defying climbs holding your belongings every time you need to go up and it’s as scary going down. Trust me, this is not a bunk bed, it’s a climb up a ladder (shared with the next room) to another level!
My light kept flickering. They came and fixed it. But it happened again and again. It was the day before I left so I didn’t care much.

Concrete pod bunks. Pretty cool architecture. Very clean with no weird smells, just the smell of concrete. Mattresses are very hard. My arms would get pins and needles if I lay on my side. Staff are friendly and bathrooms are nice.
