Can you please advise the normal procedure for a dr consult

Mine was held in reception

There were no notes taken or blood pressure taken

The previous day I bought in my script an d passport and given the medication I've been using for a severe condition for 5 years

The 2nd time I went in it was discussed that the same would happen as agreed the day before

However when I looked at the receipt I was charged a dr fee of 1,000. And a nurse fee of 500. The first day I was told 1,000.

If it was different to the other day I should have been told . I also never saw a nurse.

If in fact a consultation occurred can I please have my consult notes and registration paper and why normal procedure was not done (taking blood pressure, going into a exam room). Then it would have been clear I was having a proper consult

If these cannot be provided I'd like the original agreement upheld. That I brought medicines

I will take this further if it not sorted. There seem to be a mis communication, retracting of what was said, no one could make a decision , and I had to embarrassingly talk to a lady who was not there on the day I came in (my birthday).

I expect a refund by the 12th Jan

Had to get a vaccine, walked in and was greeted by friendly staff. Within 10 minutes it was all done. One of the friendliest and most efficient hospitals I’ve been to anywhere!

Fast, friendly and healthcare how you would want it in the Western world. Expect to pay a bit more than 100 Euro for medicine and examination, but they can help you immediately.

Dishonest and rude.
The medical care is of a high standard however the hospital is designed to make as much money as possible out of you. I went there twice during an extended stay on Koh Phangan. At the end of the consultation the doctor writes down the prices of treatment on a piece of paper, the second time I went I noticed the prices were different to the first time and upon inquiry Dr. Sinit instantly crossed out the prices and wrote down what I said I had previously paid.
During my first visit it seemed that her questions about the length of stay and the type of work I do was more about figuring out how much they could charge me than anything else. The male nurse was also incredibly rude and disrespectful.

The medical care is of a good quality, just be aware that they will try to squeeze you for as much money as they can and that the prices for things are not fixed but tailored to the wallet of each customer. The doctors are also trained salespersons and very dishonest.

I needed to get tested for two things the first time I visited. It was a fairly cheap test that covered both but upon the doctors insistence I paid for a test 1000s of baht more expensive. When I returned a few months later I asked to get the cheaper test for the two issues again as previously it was only 335 baht. This time they told me each test was separate and cost around 900 baht each.
Just an example of how dishonest they are and looking to rip you off. In the end they know they'll give you the medical treatment you need, but so dodgy about lying to get heaps of money from you.

We came here after losing a layer on the asphalt. We were satisfied with the service. Also they were friendly. The doctors speak English. I recommend this place.

While in Koh phangan I got into a motorbike accident that resulted in a deep abrasion to my leg. All staff were extremely professional and there care was top notch. They did a thorough job debridement my wound on first treatment and follow-up wound dressings. Being a medical professional in the US, I would highly recommend there care and it was better care I would get in the states plus I was seen right away. Cost 3,500 baht at first visit to see the doc+wound care (1,500 to see doc alone) and 600 baht for follow up wound changes in which the doc looked at my wound. Doctors were extremely friendly passionate and spoke great English
