Veranda Lanta Resort

I stayed at this resort for 11 nights, the room was clean and modern bed was very comfortable. It was away from the loud roads but not to far from the local 7/11 and the beach. The family that run the resort are so friendly and breakfast every morning was delicious fresh fruit and tea coffee on tap. The pool was lovely and clean and your surrounded by beautiful green plants. I can’t recommend this place enough!

A nice, quiet option and offers excellent value for money. The hotel seems to cover both sides of the street (I say seems because the other side of the street has a sign with a different hotel name, but the pool is on that side and is part of Veranda, so I assume both sides are all one property now). Staff are nice. Wifi worked fine.
My bungalow was clean and fairly comfy, and it's only a 4 minute walk to the beach (when you reach the main road, keep going straight into the little lane opposite, and after about 100 yards you'll see a footbridge on the left that takes you onto the main beach (you'll access it from behind Ilmare Resort).
To reach a second, small beach, from the main road walk to the mosque and take the small lane that runs along the north side of the mosque.

Beautiful, cleanu0026 relaxing. Hate writing reviews but was so unsure about this resort because of some of the reviews left I had to.

Booked for 1 night, stayed for 4 nights. Owner and family are lovely, cannot do enough for you. Lots of facilities close by. Wonderful restaurants/beaches.

Scooters available at resort. Would stay longer but moving to Koh Tao for 3 days. Would love to visit again!

It's suitable price. The hosts are great very helpful made our life much easier. The food was standard Thai food that you can expect for around. Clean towels are provided throughout the day and there is a wide collection of trips to go to on the front desk. Swimming pool was immaculate. The staff were so welcoming and friendly.

The hotel is very new and the rooms are fine. Pool area is quite small but new and very well maintained. Cleaning is not the best however, we only got our room cleaned twice in a week. The place is OK, but the location wasn't very attractive for us. It's quite a walk to a good beach (there is one small and full of rocks quite close), but you have to walk on the main road to get to all restaurants and small shops.

This is a charming hotel in Ko Lanta, with a convenient location- 8 minute walking from Tesco Express for snacks and groceries, 8 minute scenic walk to the Sea Captain Restaurant and the beautiful secret swimming beach, and 15 minute walk to Khlong Nin and all the great bars and restaurant, while remaining quiet enough to sleep.

Great value, our room had everything we needed, our room is clean and spacious, and the pool is great. The staff is nice, the hotel and pool look exactly like the pictures, and we had a nice porch to relax on. I would stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights earlier this month. The amenities were all real good. At the cleanliness - everywhere there was nothing to fault. I don't understand how anyone can give this resort a bad review when you're paying around ￡10 a night. Highly recommendable for those who search good comfort for a resonable price.
