If you think you've taken the wrong road then you've come to the right place. A local young man has offered himself as a guide to the cave. At the latest when he smoked a joint halfway to the cave, I knew that the guy was totally stoned. he was constantly talking to himself and not only smelled of smoke ... The path leads to and through a stream. The stones are extremely slippery and so is the mud. Also watch out for spiders, thorns and roots that you can get caught in. The cave itself is ok but by no means special. There are extremely smooth wooden ladders and a footbridge inside the cave. My attention was primarily focused on not slipping and hurting myself. When inside the cave the guide asked me if we wanted to "lie down" together the fun was over. I do not recommend the tour for solo travelers. Even if nothing happens most likely, the constant uneasy feeling reduces the joy. Risk - Benefit Analysis -u003e only in one group if at all.

A Young man flagged us down and took us up a road to park our scooter for the cave and informed us that the parking and entrance was 300 baht for 2 people. After taking our money he swiftly disappeared whilst we noticed the path he had gave us directions to was a dead end.

Great tracking up to the caves through the jungle. The cave we saw weren't that large but great for 3 children age 6, 3 and 2. It took approximately two hours to walk forth and back. We took a taxi from the hotel to the "ticket office".

One of the best place to visit in Krabi.
I was here because I organized a scooter trip (130 km) from Ao Nang.
The Tiger Temple Cave is magnificent.
If you want you can hike the mountain along a 1256 step stairway to the top!!!
Along the path the are a lot of monkeys BE CAREFULL the take (stolen) everything put with you water... and DON'T FEED the monkeys!!!
The place it's well known by the locals and a lot of people visit it everyday.
There is a magical atmosphere in this temple.
I recommend to visit it at the sunset because on the top there is a special 360 view.

Incredible and dangerous, best to take a tour guide as the cave goes very very deep and branches out so can easily get lost, take a head torch and a helmet

So as I was getting close to the start of the trail some young lad flagged me down and asked if I was looking for tiger caves, I said I was and he told me to follow him, so we parked up and he said it was 100b to go up the trail, so I paid the lad and he guided up a track next to a load of water pipes up to the caves which were ok’ish, then on the way back he decided to drop it on me that the guide was 100 there and 100 back, I agreed to this as I probably would have gotten lost without him, as we were nearing the finish line we decided to settle up and I didn’t have enough in small notes so I asked if he had change, which he said he did and took 1000b of my money and nipped off to his bike to get me my change, I never saw the lad again….

DON'T BOTHER IT'S 100B EACH OR 250B EACH FOR A GUIDE ???????????????? FOR NOTHING, LUCKILY I GOT A REFUND BECAUSE WE DIDN'T EVEN LEAVE THE CAR PARK. Go to the Waterfall down the road instead it's 40B to park a bike and the rest is free. Easy really enjoyable hike and if you're adventurous enough like me you can get to the top of the Waterfall via a pathway to the right just before the huge fallen tree. You'll be rewarded with a deeper private pool of water to swim in. Enjoy!
