Hard to find by coincidence but we did it and never regret. It's a really nice place where you can enjoy home made ice cream/sorbet made by an Italian. You are sitting on a small stage, reaching out of the small "fisher hut" (like the houses to the left an right) on pillows. The host is lovely. The prices are a bit above average but fair.

Looking for a place to eat, with relax atmosphere and great view ?! Shanti's for you ! I was a little bit tired and hungry and the owner, a french guy, receive me with a big smile and has prepared a plate with cheese (just brie because I don't eat parmigiano and blue cheese), a glass of white wine, good music, great view... What else ? I'm gonna try his homemade icecream next day ????

We visited this place for the homemade icecream. Love the cranberry n blueberry sorbet. The place was cozy with lovely seaview. It's an Instagramable cafe. The french cafe owner was friendly as well.

Great homemade ice cream. Fun staff. The owner is very talkative in a good way and always makes me laugh. Try the pralines and hazelnut!

Fantastic meal at Shanti Old Town. I had the pasta salad and the meal was delicious, in a large serving with plenty of parmesan cheese. The staff was attentive and I stayed awhile to read and finally acquiesced to ice cream. Lovely place to enjoy a fresh light meal in Old Town.

Shanti Old Town is one of my favourite restaurants on Koh Lanta, if not generally. It's never just one thing:, it's the ambiance, staff, the food, the decor, the view. I love staying in Old Town and Shanti is a big reason for that.

Of course, the ice cream is fantastic but it's the cocktails and daily, usually and hopefully pasta, dishes that always catch my attention and kept me coming back. The Shanti Garden cocktail is a must.

Fe Fe sources the ingredients locally and turns them in the most inventive dishes, with Italian and French inspiration. Both he and Colleen are so sweet and welcoming. I can't say enough good things. I can't wait until my next trip to Koh Lanta so I can eat and drink there again:)

Wow. Lovely atmosphere. Don’t miss it if you’re in Old Town.

Revisited this awesome place for the second year. The beauty of being a bit off is that there is a calmness no place in old town will deliver.

This year we enjoyed the food bowl as well, not just the ice cream.

Rumored to have the best ice cream in Ko Lanta so had to go - the chocolate banana sorbet did not disappoint! Great boutique in the front and stunning view from the back with comfy seating options. Will be back to try cocktails!
