Nice location, 1st line of the sea, clean, beach area also mainted good - not standard and cozy, very perfect sunset view restaurant with delicious food. Have swimming pool, but so so... All rooms look like a separate bungalow, private, but old. Owner, I think, friendly, but don't understand what mean "beach front", or make it tricky for get booking, I don't know. In this hotel no have beach front room (only 1 family), but declared. We booked from Agoda, and hope for beach front as declared, but was disappointed. I can recommend this place, just don't expect beach front room. If you enough for garden room it's nice place. Near also have authentic sauna and very good German Restaurant.

The food and service from the restaurant was good. The location was decent. Nice pool. The reason for the 2 star was because of the room.
We had booked and paid for 4 days but checked out after our first night.

The room: There was a half inch gap around the door. We had to stuff a towel into it to stop bugs from coming in.
The refrigerator made so much noise I had to unplug it during the night.
The shower did not work.
They gave us only a bed sheet. No blankets in the room.
The bed was super uncomfortable and very squeaky.
My wife wanted to leave after the first night saying the room was creepy.

The reception may not look the newest, the bungalows are recent, very nice and clean.
From the road it does not look like much, but this resort is quite big with many separate bungalows all very close to the beach. The bungalows are all hidden by many trees and bushes with well located paths between them. I just loved getting up early in the morning and sit on the veranda listening to all the birds.
In the center it has a nice swimming pool for the non sea lovers.
It has a huge beach in front of it with a beautiful ocean.
You can walk to it from the city in 20-30 minutes, but for a very small fee the tuktuk it the best option.
The location on google maps does not seem to be too accurate though.
The resort has also a very good diving school which I certainly can recommend!

The place is really clean for how big it is. There are cute cats everywhere. The bar/restaurant prices are a bit high but so are all bars around by the sea. Have stayed here twice and it has always been very pleasant.

Enjoyed our stay here, stayed 10 days. Located on Klung Dao beach in the center of all the best food, bars, and restaurants. You won't have to walk far in any direction to find all the things you need. A little bit of a rustic but that added to the charm. Built in the 50's or 60's and being renovated slowly. They are definitely doing repairs and upgrades on the place, watched as they made additions while we were there. Very friendly staff. Staff was always working hard. Maids cleaned room daily, brought fresh towels, and 2 bottles of water per day. Scooter rental available through the resort, very cheap. Lots of friendly cats roaming around. The restaurants part of the resort are just so so. The island has a bit more expensive drinks than other beach bars near by but food was alright. The old berlin bar was always empty and the food was also just ok, kinda expensive pastries that weren't too good. The beach at the resort was well kept and beautiful. There is a lounge area for guests of the resort only. The resort has lots of trees and flowers, big koi pond that makes it very colorful. Would stay there again.

Halfway decent resort in Koh Lanta which offers likely the best beach on the island. Resort is situated right on the beach snd offers beautiful sand and water, with incredible sunsets. We did not try the food at the resort as there were so many more affordable options both on the beach and alone the main road.

Great jungle atmosphere with nice bungalows very close to Klong Dao Beach. The room was very comfortable and the Air Con worked excellent. The Island bar located at Lanta Island resort is very nice and serves affordable Thai and Western cuisine and if you want a massage Siam Massage is amazing! This is my 3rd time at the Lanta Island Resort and it's always a great place to stay.
