Good food friendly service. Nice place to eat and watch the sunset with your toes in the sand.

Very nice cottages and very friendly staff. Room service cleaned every day and refilled everything perfectly. It is quiet, has a nice pool and direct on the beach. Just 300 meter to 7eleven and directly next to a minimart and the famous Indian Bar. Price was fair. I can recommend the Lanta Cottage.

This was one of the best places in our Thailand trip:) swimming pool and the beach (but dirty beach) almost in front of our room.
Very deep cleaning provided everyday, which surprised us (they made tidy everything, sometimes organised even our stuff and clothes)
Staff was very helpful and some friendly cats and dogs in resort were amazing as well.
We got everyday a coffee, water and new towels. For this price it was amazing ❤️ Thank you !

We ordered this hotel especially because of the pool. After we checked in, we saw that the pool was empty and the owner said it's going to be fixed "tomorrow"... (apparently it's like this for a month). of course it stayed in the same condition the day after.
every time we asked her she lied with a different excuse.... and she didn't say sorry even once!

The room was nice and got cleaned every day but the lie about the pool and the lack of empathy from the owner really ruined the experience. We moved to another hotel without getting any compensation..

Rooms on par for money. Tea, coffee, fridge and beds good but bathroom let's it down a little. Location 2 minutes walk from the beach and similar to main road with restaurants etc. The big let down really was professionalism. The staff are very friendly but often not present and are not great when called upon for help. Breakfast was non existent although we were refunded for this. Payment with credit card meant a 3% charge and when we went to get cash we asked to leave our bags only to find them unattended outside on our return and again no staff around. I wouldn't stay here again given similarly priced places in the area offer a better service.

Facilities nice as they are come as a deal package with a rude, hostile, unreliable, irresponsible, non-professional owner who can't communicate in a civilised manner.

We liked the hotel from the same day we've moved in (we've paid for 1 night initially through Agoda) and wanted to stay for another night. During the same day we've asked the owner personally whether he has available room for the next day and he approved firmly, loudly and happily that the room is available for us (my wife speaks Thai), soon later we've paid for the room upfront directly to the hotel and assumed that the deal is secured.

Next midday when getting back to hotel, we were surprised, being asked to leave because another customer was going to arrive. The owner said they've paid for a room for us in a hotel nearby (without any prior notice) which is more expensive than ours hence we're asked to pay the price difference! Only that aside, roaming around the island we knew that hotel and sincerely disliked it. The owner was not open for any other viable alternative, he even wanted to call the police and demonstrated other kinds of rude behaviour in public (such as shouting and making impolite gestures).

We've decided to take the money back, postponed some work-related Skype meetings, packed and found another hotel.

Lanta Cottage can't be trusted.

This was the “pool” when we came to the hotel (Pic attached).
The hotel manager didn’t apologize or offered us any compensation although the website clearly said the hotel is with a pool.
Also the room had ants.

Besides from this the rest was ok.
