So far so... Very good!! My wife and I have gone there a couple of times in March of 2017 as we stayed in Ko Lanta for a week. We went back there a few times after our first try as much for their 40 baht iced coffee as for their cheap breakfast and good overall food and service. The couple owning the place is VERY sweet and accommodating, and will prepare your food to order. As most restaurants in Thailand, their menu has a bit of everything, western and Thai food with a few shakes, juices and deserts, but to our experience everything seems to be cooked fairly well and with lots of love! I highly recommend this place.

Do not be mislead by the modest appearance of this place: It is by far one of the best (and also cheapest) places on Kho Lanta to go for authentic Thai cooking. It is run by a charming couple who cook everything fresh on the spot. No burgers or pizza on the menu here... Just amazing local food and smiles that kept us returning every day.

I'm not a person who complains but today I was disappointed for the first time in Thailand. Me and my wife went there for lunch. Ordered two food one was Thai spicy salad which was not good at all the shrimp smelled not fresh with some shrimps not entirely cleaned but that was not the one that got me the dish I ordered was beef curry and it came without rice and the portion was very small and I was charged 150 bhat for it. And the picture on the menu vs the actual food was totally different. I feel like I got scammed I asked for rice and I was told there was no rice because it has not been prepared. It's lunch time for God's sake. Woman did feel any bad about the situation at all. So I simply left with my wife did not even try the food. For 150 bhat I now I can get a decent meal at an ok restaurant. My advice know what you are choosing plus know the price and in particular ask about how the food is made.

Edit: it was phanang beef curry I ordered .... Such a shame .

One of the best experience in Koh Lanta ! This restaurant may not seem like much. But it is an authentic treat, owned by a similing family and a chef who learned to cook by himself. The food is outstanding yet quite simple. Everything is made "minute" at the order and when there isn't any fresh ingredients left... Well, there's isn't anything to serve! To sum it all up: great food, cheap price and served with a great smile !

Delicious! A traditional small cookshop with absolutely authentic Thai food in a high quality! The prices are more than fair and very moderate.
The charming owner himself is cooking here.

This place is more than just a good place to eat - it is a local family restaurant with delicious food. I have eaten in several places in koh lanta, no doubt it is one the best here. They make the dishes one by one with all the attention it needs - so remember you are on a vacation and it is worth to wait the extra minute. Further more, the couple that runs the place is genuinely kind, friendly and generous.
