I was surprised when I checked in at the very poor condition of the property. Filthy surfaces, no water pressure, old appliances, the list goes on. I usually research before booking and now realize there were some truthful negative reviews mixed in with the light, non-specific reviews. Yes, it's on a good beach and some rooms have good views but that's the extent of the pluses for this very dated and unkempt property. Strongly advice against booking this place. Oh there is only one, yes, only one parking spot! On the bright side the internet worked well.

Our boathouse was really good with its raised position and was clean. You know you're on to a good thing when long tail boats have to come out to meet the ferry to get you to the island paradise of Koh Jum / Koh Pu. The price for the bungalows are very low. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

There something nice about hopping from a ferry onto a long tail boat for the short ride to the beach. On the beach were hammocks, swings, deck chairs and wooden sun-huts to watch the most fantastic sunsets. Bungalows were basic but tidy and cleaning service was every day. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely be visiting again in the future and would recommend it to anyone wanting a really idyllic holiday.

Koh Jum and Ting Rai Bay are awesome place to visit in Thailand. Kantiang Bay is a nice spot if you want to be a bit removed from the crowds further north in Koh Lanta. We could not fault it from the e-mail communication with Taam prior to arrival to the boat transfer when coming over on the ferry.

We stayed at Ting Rai Bay for 12 nights and had a wonderful time. The last night we were offered the honeymoon suite which was at the top of the 'mountain. Sleeping with the patio doors wide opened on the sound of the waves was pleasant. You won't regret going to Ting Rai Bay Resort if you are a true lover of nature and kind people.

The rooms are need of a refresh particularly the bathrooms. There is a dirt road on the top of the resort that is probably going to Koh Jum, but we did not feel necessary to leave the area. Only noice you will hear is the jungle and the animals.

You can walk to Magic Beach or to Luboah beach. We realised this was a quiet island but Ting Rai Bay Resort didn't have enough of anything for us to all do an activity. Concluding we would like to thank the hole Ting Rai Bay team for the great time we had and send greetings form Monaaa.
