Reception was very welcoming and the hostel was very clean and modern. There was free snacks, coffee and tea. The social areas have books, Netflix, and travel guides. The dorm has curtains on each bed, as well as amazing AC! The location was right next to the sky train station, which was super convenient. Supermarkets next door as well.

Great place! Owner lives inside, so you're always guided and cared of. Location is near BTS Train station - for some extent frees you from Bangkok awful traffic jams.
Room I stayed in were clean, bright and spacious. I had everything I need for comfortable stay (fan, towels, wardrobe and so on).
The owner also can guide you through the city, play games with you. All recommendations worked for us!
The biggest advantage for us the common areas (kitchen, books in English, games).
Can only recommend this place!

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay here; the private room was nothing short of stunning, very spacious, clean, and - like the rest of the building - extremely stylish. The mattresses were the best we slept on out of anywhere we stayed in Thailand. The owners are just wonderful: very helpful and conscientious, they put a lot of effort into making guests feel at home, whilst still always coming across as natural and easygoing.
The location is great too: a short walk away from BTS Skytrain, yet tucked away in a quiet side street, and there are a lot of interesting things to explore in the surrounding area.
We'd really love to come back one day!

A nice and comfortable hostel in a central area close to public transport and many sight seeing activities. The dorm beds feel like small private rooms due to the curtains and the small wall next to the head. I normally need a hotel room once in a while to get well rested but this hostel does the trick. Personnel is very friendly and the breakfast isn't your normal breakfast(see the picture). If you don't want to go to a party hostel and you want an offordable bed I would surely recommend The Companion.

What a lovely hostel and lovely people who run the place. Loved staying here felt very at home. The hostel was lovely and clean and modern but still had a really homely vibe. So close to all of the temples, nightlife etc. Will be back again when I come back to Bangkok! Wish I could rate this place more then 5 stars.

The Companion Hostel was the best Hostel I have stayed in so far it was incedably clean and the owners were the nicest. They really wanted you to have an amazing time in Thailand. They gave us Maps and Tips for everything and it was so easy to find my way around town because of that. Also the Beds are really big and comfortable, th AC is great and the toilets and showers are also very clean! It takes maximum 15 minutes to get into town by BTS and Boat, so it really is the perfect place to stay if you want to be at a calm place which is close to town! To get to Khao San is also only 100 baht max or so! Great stay at a great Hostel I will be back for sure.

The room is very nice and offers everything needed. The bath is great compared to other places in bangkok. There is fast Wifi for free and we you can even have a small breakfast there. The lady at the reception was really friendly and helped us a lot the plan our stay.
