A tastefully restored shrine of worship to Ma Tzu, the goddess of the sea. It allows you to write your wishes on a strip of long red cloth and have them hung on the rack to be blessed.

Worth a look around if you are in the area. Very quiet when I visited and only a few shops that are based in the warehouses were open

The volunteers and staff are amazing. Kind and helpful. The place, structure and view are quite taking. It is an amazing experience.

Amazing atmosphere!
I could vote 1000 stars if i am allowed
Very successful conservation and transformation.
I entered at the early morning, had feeling like being in another world, peacefully!
For me , this is the best place in BKK.
The architects do did an absolutely good job.
The concept: the past and present parallelly.
The gastronomical area on ground floor, the museum on upper floor.

Not your traditional shrine. Half warehouse.. half building.. lots of wood.. courtyard expanse.. umbrellas.. while tourist partly wander through the upper shrine and lower shrine taking photos of everything. What will happen to this shrine remains to be seen once renovations for a new hotel starts... closing date 01 December 2021.

Very good facility. Place to be with family. Kids and eldery friendly. There is restaurant and bar by the river.

Well renovated old Chinese warehouses, right next to the river. Good work, especially in terms of the old paintings located on the 2nd floor. The shrine itself is original and interesting. There are some food shops inside but a few steps out, lots of yummy street food at local prices. Worth the visit.
