The hotel was wonderful, the view from our room was overlooking to whole beach. We had a room with a private pool, which we sadly only got to enjoy for one day. Throughout the day we found ants in the pool and it wasn't just a few. However our stay was short so we wasn't too fussed.

The location of the hotel is great and very Central, easy to get around and reasonable taxi prices. The hotel does a shuttle bus service too, which takes you to two central parts of Patong and it came very handy.

The receptionist ladies were all wonderful and very helpful. They helped us with each taxi bookings and made sure everything was arranged for us. They really made us feel very welcomed.

Breakfast was great and with so much options to choose from. There's plenty of good views from the outside while eating breakfast and it's sort of a nice way to start the morning. We did notice two members of staff standing across the room while having breakfast one morning and looking over a few times and laughing at us at for a short moment. As everyone was very friendly throughout our stay we did find this a little upsetting since it came across they were laughing at us.

Overall still a good hotel and very picturesque everywhere.

The hotel is simply wonderful. the breakfast is amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It has more than enough pools. One of the pools is the infinity pool. sometimes our little friend lizard was visiting us on the balcony. The location is a bit far from the center, but there is a constant shuttle service. The staff are very polite and well-equipped people. I would definitely recommend. Super super super.

The property and amenities here are beautiful and I had a very pleasant stay. My private pool suite with ocean view did not disappoint and it was just what I needed for a relaxing break - very spacious, quiet and luxurious.

Staff at the Wyndham Grand are absolutely delightful and seem to go out of their way to ensure you’re happy. For example, I arrived at the pool bar a little early, prior to it opening without realising, in the hope of enjoying a cocktail whilst overlooking the bay. Although I was happy to wait, a passing member of staff saw me sitting there and kindly offered to make me a cocktail at the upstairs facility and bring it down to where I was sitting.

The hotel’s restaurant and room service food is decent but if you are staying for more than a couple of nights, you’ll be wanting a wider variety of food. There is a fantastic app you can download on your phone for accessing things like room service ordering, spa bookings and any other requests you may have. I used this a lot and found it very convenient and easy to use. Simply scan the unique QR code with your phone when you get to your room and you’re in business.

The spa facilities on site are fantastic and I found myself visiting for a massage every day. The prices at the spa are expensive by Thailand standards but the experience feels very high class and the treatments are flawless, so I feel there is good value for money here. If you’re after a cheaper massage option, there are numerous places available a short taxi ride away from the resort.

I found the location was great if you’re looking to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. I was able to have just about anything I wanted delivered to the hotel using the Grab app on my phone, which saved me the hassle of walking around to find local food. That said, I was only ever a short taxi ride away from anywhere I wanted to visit around Phuket. For Muslim travellers, there is a lot of Halal food around the area.

The fallout from the pandemic is still evident in Phuket with the tourism downturn having taken a toll; I observed a lot of businesses in the region were closed down as of August 2022. In line with these circumstances, the resort itself was very quiet with some buildings not yet back in use. I didn’t find this detracted from the experience, rather it was interesting to observe and the reduced number of tourists meant more space to roam freely without a crowd.

Some travellers may be interested to know that the resort is situated on a hillside therefore there is a lot of uphill/downhill walking required around the property. There is a complimentary fleet of staff vehicles available to drive you wherever you want around the property if you wish to avoid walking the hills, but there might be a slight wait during busier periods. A bit of patience goes a long way.

In summary, this is a great place for a relaxing getaway that feels a whole lot more expensive than it actually is.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! This was my first trip to Thailand, and I was a little swamped with options of hotels. I did some research and picked this hotel due to its location. It ended up being the perfect place! An affordable shuttle was offered every hour to go to the nearby beaches and shopping areas. Plus, there were two infinity pools on the roof overlooking the trees, mountains, and ocean. The breakfast every morning was phenomenal. The staff was super friendly and helpful. An ATM was on site. I went to the gym to run nearly every morning, and the view from my treadmill was beautiful. The room was quiet, quaint, and well air conditioned. The housekeepers tidied up well every day. The WiFi was strong, and the view from the balcony was straight from a magazine. I would have lived at this hotel if I were able to. If you're traveling to Thailand, I highly recommended staying here!

What was Bad
There was a dead bird floating in my pool
The Toilet does not flush, me and my wife used the gym restroom for the whole stay, i called them 4 times from the first day but no one came to fix it.
The Wifi is the worst I can’t even open an email, and keeps disconnecting every 5 minutes.

What was Good
Very nice, helpful, and friendly staff.
They offered me a late checkout which was nice because my flight leaves very late

Good room service
Luxury
Great room view
Good gym
Clean and neat public pool
Clean room (except for the dead bird in the pool)
Very friendly workers around the resort they will always greet you and smile.

The view from here is amazing. Book a room preferably with ocean view you won't regret it. The breakfast buffet is very good. The only downside is that the rooms are located on cliff so you need to walk up and down on cliff to go anywhere.

Very good location. Hotel is well maintained and also have good offers for food and beverages. They also have a shuttle service for pick up and drop to the Phuket beach. Staff is friendly and helpful. The Spa service are also good and economical. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a stay near patong beach!
