The Gu hotel is part of the Gig hotel and as such you have access to the rooftop pool and bar - totally worth it. the rooms are clean and service is quick, everyone was very helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. I went with my friends and the only problem we encountered was that omit one card worked at a time per room - but it was hardly a complaint.

This is a beautiful hotel with an amazing pool. We really enjoyed our stay there. The rooms were great. However the walls and doors are thin so the room of guys down the hall kepts us up all night... With a baby.... Not ideal... But also not the hotels fault...
The staff at the front, security, pool, restaurant and bell boy were all extremely nice to us. We recommend this hotel. However it's not the cheapest so if your looking for something really cheap then this isn't the place.

the GU and Gig hotels seem to be 2 hotels under one ***agement that share the same facilities. this made finding the entrance and reception for us (and our driver) difficult as reception is in the gig hotel. breakfast was OK though a bit repetitive. the facilities though were very good. the rooms was clean but simple, and the roof top pool was amazing.

Hotel is a good location and really value for money. I have stayed in ***y budget hotel in Phuket but this is one of the best at such good price and the room is comfortable. Most important, on-site parking lot is available. if the car park lot can be more spacious, it will definitely be a plus point.

The front desk (which doesn't have a phone number and is across the street) told us it would be back on in half an hour, so we are just covered in soap waiting for the water to turn on. Up on the 8th floor the room wasnt even painted and had concrete floors, walls and smelt of a builidng site. The hotel location was good as it is just mins away from Jungcelyon Shopping mall and Patong beach. Its a real Value for money. I would come back and stay again definitely.

Our hotel door did not shut easily which meant you had to be very careful to push/pull it hard to ensure you did not leave your door open. Staff are fine. Pretty new hotel with a great location at Patong. Check any bills and amounts they state are correct. I will be staying there on my next visit.

I once again liked the location of this hotel which was very close to all the things I was interested in. A special thanks goes to the girl who cleaned my room everyday. During our stay the staff were really friendly and helpful and helped us book taxis. Great value although the breakfast was not something to shout about.
