Words and pictures do not capture the full beauty of this place. The resort is situated in a quiet cove in between two fresh local markets, 2 supermarkets - excellent for those who love to cook, and walking distance to the beach and many restaurants. Close to town and shopping but quiet ideal location.
The restaurant in-house serves amazing and dilicious Thai food prepared by two very friendly chefs. They were more than happy to cater to me being vegetarian and adjusted meals accordingly so I could eat freely from the full menu. They also offer Thai cooking classes where some of my favorite recipes were explained step by step and the chef prepares them with you hands on.
The rooms are spacious, with great natural lighting, great views, and even good vaastu (feng-shui) is present in the lay-out. They provide modern amenities but with a classical Thai undertone/theme, so from the moment you wake up, you can tell you are in tropical kamala, not just some random hotel.
The thing that gives this place a golden star though is the hospitality. Each and every staff from the airport pickup driver, to the front-desk clerk, to the managers and even the cleaners (and chefs) were very warm, always shining with a contagious genuine smile, and they always did the most to make u feel at home and comfortable. Service from the heart has surpassed my expectation here and I must sincerely say this place has some of the best hospitalty of anywhere I have ever stayed.
Rather a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or simply time to relax, recharge and reconnect with nature, I would stay here again without hesitation and definitely reccommemd this place, you will not regret it.
