Had a lobster, quite expensive (didn't mind) it was my first experience trying a lobster so was looking very forward to it. The meal came, I ate, and was happy, though there wasn't much meat in the lobster. After visiting another lobster place (was cheaper and better tasting), and seeing all the equipment they gave to dig into your lobster and get the most out of it, it put Tantawan restaurant to shame. For lobster, avoid Tantawan, I'm sure the rest of the food there is nice but lobster isn't a specialty.

We came across this restaurant two years ago on our first visit to Patong. The seafood is quite nice and better priced then other restaurants we saw. We normally eat only seafood shrimps, crabs and squid, but other are available... The menu as for most restaurants in Patong requires half an hour from start to end... But some people on the side were having... Pizza!... Yep... My recommendation stick to the seafood. Order it at the entrance, if you like crab, you must try the bluecrab. I normally have the seafood grilled but they will prepare it in various forms Thai way of course...

Fanstastic food!!!! I am a professional seafood mania from Hong Kong, i can say this must be best food in phuket! just 2000baht, i have big fresh garlic fish, 4 big chili white prawns, octopus, dongyumgong, minced beef w rice, morning glory and drink!!!! THE FISH AND BIG PRAWN I CAN SAY IS SUPER FRASH AND THE SOURCE IS OH...MY...GOD.... CHILI SOURCE AND SAME PAPER GARLIC SOURCE WAS SO SPECIAL!!! Also they have good live band here! I requested my favourite "Lemon tree" and enjoying my favourite chang beer and favourite seafood with my family in a luxary thai style restaurant, Its so great!!!

the next day I tried another restaurant called "patong sea food" nearby , i ordered the similar sea food....but just taste like shxt, the fish was hard and dry and bitter....prawn is not fresh.....then charged me 2500baht...so need to be careful.

The service unfortunately did not make up for the terrible food that was served here. We ordered prawns and pad kee mao, the noodles were so slimey we could barely swallow them and the prawns were somehow crumbly and stale. When we kindly explained this to the wait staff, all they had to say was that’s what we ordered. We paid for the food and left without another word. Save yourself some time and money and avoid this restaurant.

Quality of food was ok. Could do with more seasoning, I was surprised. Overall decent place though

Very average quality food. Prawns were bad but lobster brisque was very nice.
