The place is an excellent resort for families with your children. It has multiple on-site attractions such as multiple pools, water slides, ping pong and pool tables, children play rooms, shows for children and more. The adults can also enjoy massages and a decent jym.

The family room contains two connected apartments, each with its own shower and toilet but the entrance is only through one of them and the balcony is shared.

The food is very good and the restaurant is decently priced with free food menu for children (with a paying adult).

Beach access is directly from the hotel with some restaurants and surfing "schools" located just as you walk out and for visiting the city you would need to drive a bit and I recommend taking a car for this.

Very nice location, within walking distance to the beach, nice food in and out of the resort, 8 pools within the resort. Staff are super helpful and friendly. It would have been beyond 5 stars if there is a jacuzzi and the air conditioning doesn't blow at the direction of my head when sleeping (I tried, in vain, to adjust the swing). Still, its overall 5 stars... and I can't wait to return....

What an amazing stay we had here!
First and foremost the staff were incredible. So friendly to all guests and to each other, always smiling. It made for a really great atmosphere.
They go above and beyond for all guests and put in so much effort with all the kids, even our grumpy 3 year old. We loved bouncing between the pools, the beach and Lollo and Bernie's Kids Club.

Great hotel with great atmosphere - especially if you want good vacation! This would definitely be the place you would want to stay if you are visiting for vacation in Thailand. The staff are lovely. The location is great - right in the middle of everything and I just love walking out of my room straight to the beach!

We just had an amazing 6 day stay at Sunwing. We got one of the happy baby rooms and we were very impressed at how well setup for kids the whole resort is.
We had 3 young kids (3, 1 u0026 0.5) and they loved every minute. The kids particularly enjoyed the pool, the kids club and the beach.
The staff were all fantastic but particularly Nan, Foh u0026 Kwaw were great with the kids.
The food was great and we barely ate anywhere else.
Highly recommend this place for a family with young or older kids.
We'd love to come back one day.
Tip: if you're going to the beach with young kids then make sure you go at low tide. The waves looked a bit dangerous at high tide.

An excellent hotel for the family.
Large and spacious room, many activities for children: pools and slides, children's room, restaurant and pool reservations, gym, next to a great beach.
Disadvantages - in the early evening most are closed, the hotel is far from the city center, the water in the pools is dirty. Overall a highly recommended hotel.

I keep coming back to this wonderful place and couldn't have wished for a better stay. The resort is my second home. From the very first time in Phuket, I have always been choosing to stay at Sunwing Kamala Beach. It is located right on the white sandy beach and provides wide choices of swimming pools and relaxation areas. The beach is super private. Our Two-Bedroom Royal Suite is very specious, beautiful, spotlessly clean, with everything catered for. What I like most is that this child friendly hotel has a launderette available, with coin-operated washing machines and laundry drying tumblers that you can use on demand. Even a baby cot can be requested.
The staff are super friendly and will assist you with anything you need. Excellent service from all staff. My biggest thanks go to Mrs. Renelyn Ramos, the Asst. Guest Service Lead, who personally welcomed us upon our arrival in hotel. She showed us along the way to our room, so that we would re-acquaint ourselves with the place again and it really feels like home again. Since we have known each other for the whole 8 years, it was just like meeting old friends. Thank you for your kind assistance and for making our stay more pleasant!!!
We love every moment staying here. That’s why we are returning guests to Sunwing Kamala Beach with the passage of time.
