This is a restaurant that sells ocean views and ambience but both were lacking the day we went. We were seated under the house structure because the server said it might rain— it didn’t. The food was okay but flavors were not super well balanced in that some dishes were too spicy (and we generally eat spicy food) while others too sweet. The herb fried fish was FIRE though! We also thought the live band didn’t really fit the vibe. I’m being quite critical but to the average consumer, this place would be pretty good.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful service, with fresh local food. It was my second time eating here, and the food has been great both times. The crab curry is not to be missed, and extremely popular. The seafood is all good, though expect that if it says it's spicy... it is spicy!

The ocean views are nice, with the sound of waves creating at the shore. Overall excellent and a step above most restaurants in Huahin.

Good place for authentic Thai food. Fair price compare to the environment. Service is good but handling the repeat orders and mosquitos need to be improved. Overall are ok.

Fantastic overall dining experience! The seafood is fresh, and you get to enjoy your meal with an unblocked view of the sea and live music in the background. The service staff are very friendly as well. Recommended for anyone taking a trip down to Hua Hin. Just be sure to make a reservation if you are going on a weekend as the staff said that they are usually fully booked.

Great authentic Thai food. All dishes are so delicious. Suggest to try their recommended menu. Wonderful ambient in the evening. There’s a live music band making better vibe. Highly recommend this place.

I just felt hungry so went eat there.

- Taste : I feel like not much MSG, less sugar. Good enough.

- Price : Dishes are ok but coconut water is 140baht each. Even in Bangkok, not that.... Nonsense price. I paid 1400-1500 for 2 people. (3dishesu003d,2rices and 2coconut water)

- Mood : Casual Jazz?! I cannot recommend to young people but it is quite cozy.

- Service : Overall fine but 3-4staffs repeated to ask"How's the taste of food? ". So unpleasant ans disturbed. The manager there might train them again.

- General rivew : With the budget 1,500bahts,in Bangkok, I can eat better food than here. I heard that this is under the Movenpick.... Hmmm.. It makes me not go to Movenpick hua-hin because of this.

One of the two restaurants in Movenpick Asara Huahin. This seaside restaurant focus on local seafood dishes and is open to outside patrons. Abundance of parking on venue.

Recommended that you reserve a table as the seating are very limited due to Covid restrictions (was fully booked for a few days).

For evening service, it is recommended that you come a little early (e.g. 17:00) as you can avoid the evening bugs.

The food was generally good. Expect hotel prices. The crab curry was excellent and went along very well with the fried vermicelli noodles that came with our shrimp spring rolls. The banana fritters were delicious, but could have some more of the rich homemade coconut ice cream to balance the dish.

The combination of live music, fresh food, and huahin sundown made the experience memorable.
