If you are in Hat Yai District, and looking for a HALAL Muslim food..I would suggest 'Chekkar Restaurant' ..sounds like Mamak Nasi Kandar restaurant in Malaysia but its a local Thai restaurant.. Located next to d highway and easy access..Just Google and u can find this restaurant.. Nice food and great service by the staff and young owner..recommended and not disappointed.. You guys should try daging bakar, tomyam and kerabu mangga????????????????????????most probably next round before heading back to Malaysia????????????

My 3rd time here and the service is fast and attentive as ever. Foodwise is better than most and the portion is large. I recommend the mackarel in fishsauce. Some dishes can be very very hot and spicy. Loads of parking space in empty lot next to it.
