Thana City is one of the finest golf course in the closest area from Bangkok and the airport.
It is a 18 / 72 course, perfectly manucured, with beautiful greens and nice fairways. Some water and some bunkers will come to try to kill your game, so you have to play wisely.
But this is just the usual golf advice.
Lockers and showers are great and clean as almost everywhere in Thailand.
Caddies are speaking English enough to help your game and make fun of you if you play like me.
Bars with some bites on the course are really nice and are really an invitation to make a stop for a drink.
Restaurant, called the Shark Bites, is ok.... Service is slow, very slow, food is ok. Not the top part of the course.
There is an hotel overlooking the course which is nice but kind of remote if you plan to stay longer and want to move around if you do not have a car.
Last but not least, they have what is called the TC card, which gives you nice promotion on green fees and packages. A must buy if, like me, are a citizen of Bangkok.
I will play again on this course, to score down and down..... a long way to go.
