A unique resort with exceptional architectural features. The staff were welcoming, friendly and delightfully attentive. The "Villa" was clean and comfortable with some quirky features that added to the enchantment of the overall experience. On the downside, it is beside the airport with planes landing and taking off, although they did not disturb us during the night. The fittings are getting old and could probably do with some modernisation. If anything this added to the sense of antiquity and traditional appeal of the Ammata Lanta Resort.

Fantastic place but a bit too much glorious.
Very mosquito that was annoying.
Lousy internet coverage on room 26.
Too little daylight in the bedroom.
Beautiful antiques at the front desk.
Quiet place where air traffic was not troublesome but fascinating close to watching.
The food was below average good.

If you're a plane spotting enthusiast then this is the resort for you. It's located next to Suvarnabhumi International Airport so you get these great views of aircraft landing. As for the resort itself, it is designed and decorated in a unique style so take out the camera and snap away. Service is good and friendly and the accommodation is comfortable. Despite being next to a busy airport, one's privacy and seclusion is guaranteed. Worth a visit and a short stay.

This resort has a beautiful restaurant that most people neglected. Might be the restaurant next door attracts all the eyebrows. Fine, over there is crowded with tourists. Here one can relax and enjoy the same environment with much better food and catering services. Even not to worry about weather during raining season.

This restaurant is Supanahong restaurant. Price is reasonable with nice presentation and quality food except Japanese rice for sushi and hand roll. The rice is too muddy as not cooked properly.

Draft beer is available in glass or tower with two choices only.

Dining by the pool side is perfect for a hideaway holiday.

It is a uniquely Asian resort like nothing you will find elsewhere. It makes your Asian experience all that more special. The staff are very courteous and friendly. They pay attention to your every need. The restaurant is excellent the food is very authentic.

This resort consists of several Villas that are surrounding a lake. The overall area is right next to the newer Bangkok Airport. If you are a planespotter this is your place. If you hate aircraft noise stay away.
Other that that the administrative buildings are full with antique statues pictures etc.
Villas are big as well as very comfortable only downers are that they unfortunately feature some mosquitoes as well as the occasional bad smell that creeps out of the bathroom sinks.
Staff is REALLY friendly and is willing to go the extra mile for you.
Breakfast is great! Egg Station with a chef, western European spread some Thai breakfast options. All in all a lot of bang for you buck.
I can only recommend this location if you need to wait for your next days connection flight. The trip to and from the Airport is about 7 minutes with the complementary Ammata Lanta Taxi Shuttle Service.
