I've stayed at Shagwell many times over the years always my go to rooms as its right next to where I drink and I have many friends here. Been here 3 weeks now its still a pleasant place to stay, but I feel the pandemic has done it no favours, the lifts not working not really a problem as I'm on the 1st floor and it's in desperate need of refurbishment inside and out, the lady on the desk is always happy and helpful and always asks if I need anything. I would give 5 stars but Shagwell is in desperate need of some exterior renovation ASAP.
It's cheap, clean and tidy, and not miles from any of the hot spots.
Ps TV reception needs sorting, but WiFi is good.

Very pleasant stay! Comfortable rooms and good working air-con. Staff are very pleasant and cleaner is very thorough.
Overall a very good hotel for the price.

Very pleasant staff,the beach is only 5 minutes away by taxi bike ,some lovely food stalls all along the street outside.

Been going here for 9 years. Back in the day it was fun and busy place now dated and quiet.

Another Pattaya place, with a name that possibly doesn't do it justice any more.

Place is not the same with the bar closed.
