Nice location. Local fishing community 20 meters away. Sea and beach view from the balcony of your room. Canadian musician most nights. Food good choice and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will be back

I’m just over halfway through a month-long stay at the Beachspot Hostel u0026 Restaurant, and really happy here. I’m not staying in the hostel part. I’m in a beach view studio, two floors above the bar. I have zero complaints. The staff are wonderful. The decor throughout shows exquisite taste. Large comfy bed. High quality bed linen and towels changed regularly. Good fridge and air con. Huge TV. Great WiFi. Room serviced every other day. My serviced studio is artfully decorated and I’m happy to spend many hours in here or on the covered balcony, which is the size of another room (ceiling fan, power outlets, comfy armchairs, sound of the sea lapping on the shore. I spend a lot of time out here writing, like now). It’s in a very quiet strip of Jomtien at night, but just a stone’s throw from 7/11 and Family Mart for late night emergency snacks etc.
The owner, At, is a charming lady, and all the staff are polite, attentive and friendly. I haven’t eaten here yet, but the food I have seen looks fresh, plentiful and beautifully presented.
I highly recommend the rooms at the front overlooking the beach (I looked at the floor below, a bigger suite, also tastefully decorated and lit, but opted to be up higher away from the street. As it turned out it’s so quiet at night that it doesn’t make a difference).
In the morning you get to see Thailand waking up and putting its feet on the floor right outside your window, as the fishermen come in with the catch, and street vendors sell breakfast to early birds.
A baht bus/song thaew straight into Pattaya and back passes the front door every few minutes 24 hours a day, with the frequency dropping during the night, but never what you’d call a long wait.
For me, Beachspot ticked all the boxes. Clean, quiet, tastefully decorated yet with modern amenities. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

Awesome spot for budget traveler. Right on he beach. Cosy hostel serves up delicious Thai food and owners and staff were vrlery hospitable and friendly. If you're lucky to meet the resident parrot, you might be learning some useful Thai phrases from him as well.

Highly recommended... Thb2.5m will buy you this place which is on a long term lease as well.

Great place on the Jomtien Beach Road!
Good food, friendly staff. And on top of everything else, great live music!!!!!
Had a look also at the rooms upstairs and they look very good, nicely renovated and clean

Good place to visit in Pattaya, just 10 bath to walking street from hostel.. beach view dom with good working AC. Hostel with restaurant and bar. Near to 7/11 and family mart, near to shuttle bus stop from Pattaya to airport.. cheap price guarantee....

AVOID. No Air Conditioning in a room advertised as having air-conditioning. After alerting the staff about the situation they admitted 1) They were already aware the AC wasn't working the day before, but had checked me in to that room anyway 2) that they weren't going to change my room, give a refund or remedy the situation in any way. Only slept a few hours, terribly. Couldn't recommend less.
