Really great vibe for early Australia F1. Friendly owners, waitresses on the ball and baguettes really scrummy! Excellent find and we will be back next time! English commentary was great. Suggest to book a table if it’s a big game or match. We booked on their Fb page chat!

Very attentive staff and warm atmosphere.
Frequented predominantly by foreigners which is reflected in the menu, but there is plenty of Thai food choices if pie and chips feels incongruous.
Very reasonably priced tables per hour including the food and drinks.
There's 3 larger (American type tables, with buckets for pockets) and I think maybe 4 normal sized ones.
This place gets busy on occasions so you may have to put your name on a waiting list, but there's plenty of sports being shown on the plethora of screens.

The atmosphere was good. But the food wasn't great. The worst part was when they served me up an apple pie which looked like and tasted like it had been microwaved from frozen. It was basically an uncooked doughball with apple sauce inside that burnt my tongue(see pic).

They refunded this, but I'd have preferred if they had just put it in the oven and cook it properly and have a nice crisp pastry. Avoid the apple pie if you go there, or anything with pastry.

Felt sorry for the waitress, who happened to be very understanding, as I had other issues...the beer I received was warm had to ask for a glass with ice and they also forgot to put a Yorkshire on my Sunday roast. My friend also had to return some chicken satay sticks.

I mean they were probably overwhelmed as it was an F1 night but was extremely disappointed in the food. Expected better.

Also the sound for the F1 wasn't all that clear, even when it was quiet. The projectors made sure that everyone got to see what was happening though. But the sound quality was poor.

Great place to have a drink and play a game of pool with friends. A wide variety of live sport games available to watch as well as booths to watch your own choice of sport, live. Food is priced well and tastes very good for a sports bar. Definitely coming here again.

When in a capital city the quality of products and services can often be a lot higher than in the surrounding countryside.
But not in the Sportsman in Soi 13.
The food is to a very high standard, served without delay and at very reasonable prices.
The pool tables are in good condition and the service levels excellent.
Then if you want to watch sport you have screens for virtually every event worth watching.
A really good night out at prices you would not think achievable in Bangkok.
Just don't go there in hoards because I want to be able to always get in.

Good selection of food both Thai and European at reasonable prices. My only criticism is that there must be too many staff as the majority of my them spent most of the time talking to the customers and the others were playing pool. I will visit again in the future in the hope that things will improve.
