Obara is newly opened for 3 months. It’s a traditional Japanese restaurant near W district. It is operated by a Japanese chef who is very friendly and sharing a very good vibe. Few minutes walk from Prakanong BTS station. Not difficult to find.

Had a tempura lunch set on Sunday. It’s really delicious. I very enjoyed watching the chef cooking the tempura in front of the serving table. Lunch only available on Saturday and Sunday. But I will come again to try the dinner next time. The dinner menu is so tempting :D

Environment is good. Very clean. Very comfortable.

Good atmosphere and good food. Tempura serving from counter is worth visiting. It’s a real Japanese style. They also have wine.

Very reasonable and tasty TEMPURA restaurant. There is no parking and you need to find it somewhere. There are few parking place but it is about 5 - 10 min. Walking distance. Better to be here by BTS and walk or Taxi, motorcycle.

Delicious tempura, kamameshi, and cozy Japanese atmosphere. Mans fries up the tempura right before your eyes if you sit at the bar. Take a load off and relax as your kamameshi cooks up.

Really recommended this place. Food u0026 atmosphere was fantastic!! Chef was very nice and friendly. Definitely come back
