5 Cafe S - 3 years ago
Hands down, the best yōshoku cuisine restaurant in Bangkok.
I've been going to My Porch for about 5 years now, solid quality food all around, everything taste quite light but still flavorful at the same time which is the magic of authentic Japanese fusion food.
Pasta dishes are definitely the highlight of this restaurant.
Bacon u0026 Mushroom Peperoncino - My favorite pasta here, strong flavor of garlic u0026 chili like aglio e olio but better while bacon u0026 mushroom are the best combo especially with pasta.
Eggplant u0026 Bacon Shoyu Taste - Another marvelous Japanese fusion pasta. Very light u0026 umami soy sauce flavor fused with pasta. Super tasty.
Shrimp u0026 Asparagus Tomato Cream Sauce - One of the best tasting tomato sauces I ever had and slightly creamy, perfect with minced shrimps and asparagus.
Their seafood dishes are amazing as well. Like grilled Hokkaido scallops, grilled salmon with tartar sauce and fried prawns.
Atmosphere at this shop is quite nice, especially on the second floor. Very cozy and cafe-like with soft Japanese music playing most of the time. Staffs here are great and friendly as well.
The price here is quite steep though, definitely mid fine-dining. But you get your money's worth for premium quality food. So I think it's worth it.
