We were pretty disappointed by the new brunch offering here. My friends had the American breakfast, which they said was fine (hash browns were great!) and I had the duck hash. The duck was nice but there was no seasoning on the potatoes, not even salt. The reason for two stars, however was the service. We had to ask three different servers for the eggs served any style to be poached, drink orders took a long time to be filled, my two friends’ requests for avocado on the side ended up with one plate of avocado and one plate of hash browns, and at the end there were (albeit very small) but charges put on the bill for the eggs to be poached and to change the hash brown to avocado. Seemed like a restaurant on it’s first day, not a restaurant expanding their hours. At the end of the day, Thong Lor has a glut of options for brunch and this one gave us no reason to return.
