I had a fantastic stay at the Ambassador Hotel recently. I was greeted warmly when I checked in and was treated really well during my 3 night stay at the hotel. The staff were prompt when I called room service and spoke English really well. My room was spacious and it had all the amenities I required. The bed was super comfortable and I heard no noise from the busy street outside. Thanks again to all the staff for treating me like a VIP during my stay. I can't wait to come back to Bangkok and stay here again.

Bangkok is Thailand’s urban jungle and cultural melting pot, which makes it such a wonderful holiday destination and a unique experience. This multifaceted city, which offers beauty, tradition and modernity should be experienced and enjoyed in a hotel that also offers all of this. Overall, this is a decent hotel. However, I can't believe what I have just seen. A old nasty board in the middle of hotel passage. It is blocking the hotel's guest walkway and looks unpleasant. How does the hotel of this respected calibre permits and allows this... This sign board from Merit's tailor spoils the whole ambience of Ambassador hotel, makes the hotel look cheap and desperate. Due to this I've to give a 1 star review :(

I visited Thailand with my Group of 25 Passengers, I normally booked Galleria 10 at Sukhmuvit Road, but this I tried to book Ambassador Hotel.
This Experience cost me a lot due to multiple reasons

1. Very NON PROFESSIONAL Staff
2. Staff were very rude behavior even they charge for extra room key which i never seen any hotel.
3. You have to wait till 3 pm for check in even if they have vacant rooms available.
4. Their reservation manager is so rude that he do not even listen to you. he will tell you just wait in lobby.
5. Rooms are not old styled and bathrooms are very small and mostly have problem with water leakage, drainage system problems etc.
6. I strongly request everyone and will NOT RECOMMEND Ambassador Hotel Bangkok to stay.

It was a very huge mistake to book Ambassador Hotel Bangkok and costly experience.

Thank you

Rooms 2/5
Service 1/5
Location 4/5

This is probably the worst and i don't understand why people from abroad have to come in the package choosing this hotel.

My friend came to visit me and seeing the condition of the hotel was regretting instantly. Terrible rooms but a bit spacious. Lots of wear and tear. Doors are coming off, broken chairs.

Service is especially where you are going to regret. Hotel never answer calls from rooms. No water when needed. No service.

Location is outstanding. It's in the heart of the city. Everything is right across the hotel. Bars, restaurants. If you prefer budget, then this is the best choice but if you prefer service then try other hotels.

To everyone coming from India, please be humble and be nice to Thai people. They are not your slaves and treat them as you want to be treated. This is also one reason for them to dislike the majority of Indian people.

The food I'd enjoyed a lot, the rooms is also good. Only few service that you can see around and couldn't speak basic English like the maintenance personnel. Hope we could improve in that aspect since it is multinational are staying ????????

Huge hotel that has lost its luster. Stayed in the main tower and the room is in dire need of a make over, looked old and worn. Shower took a long time for the water to get hot. Had a long wait in line for both checking in and checking out. Key card didn’t work after checking in. Bed was firm. Awesome location. 7-11 and a couple of Indian restaurants downstairs. A couple of minutes from Nana BTS.
