Best hotel in Bangkok: there are so many five star hotels in Bangkok and of those I have stayed, none can be compare to 137. We stayed here for over 3 weeks, firstly facility in the hotel is well maintained, pool was beautiful and so clean. Restaurants here got really good chef, we can spend a week here without going out and not get bored with food. Washer and dryer in one bedroom suite with cloakroom and balcony is a plus. Most wonderful thing is the team, they all addressed us by name, knew what time we like our cleaning to be done and helped us book lots of things, this is true five star service that makes you feel they care about each guests. We will come back next time.
Hotel location is also wonderful with so many restaurant closed by and this is a Japanese zone with lots of good food. Congrats to hotel management team to be running such a wonderful place.

Absolutely amazing ! The staff is incredibly kind - some even know you by name! And they look after you so well. The room is really beautiful with stunning views over the city, and the best part, beyond the delicious breakfast, was the washing machine! It’s also well located, with a cute London cab as shuttle to the sky line (tram!). And if you need a massage, there’s the best Thai massage I’ve had in Thailand at At Ease, just a few mins walking distance!

Nice place to chill both cafe and marble bar, foods can be better. Cold cut and cheese plate for 8/10. Deep fried calamari is too cold and squid is too dry and hard. My friends and I like most for the scenery and places more than foods. Easy, comfy and quiet place to hang out.

So this is my second time staying at this hotel, my family and I loved it so much the first time we had to come back three years later.

In terms of room quality and services things were pretty much the same, a part from the overused towels in the bathroom. However we had a bad service with a booked shuttle that was supposed to take us from the mall near by back to the hotel, we already called and booked the shuttle 25 minutes before the actual arrival of the shuttle, but when the shuttle arrived other couple jumped in the shuttle before us and took it even thought it was booked for us. Called the hotel and confirmed that our shuttle was taken by other people, they sent us another one after 15 minutes. Spoke with the manager afterward, we got nothing but apologies for the situation. Plus, not logical explanation that the driver took the room number of the couple after they were in the shuttle and they didn't want to tell them to get off the shuttle!!

All in all Im very disappointed by the way the driver and the manager handled the situation for that I'm not coming again or recommending the hotel to others.

My husband and I had an INCREDIBLE stay at 137 Pillars Bangkok. Our room, the Sukhothai Suite, was absolutely stunning, and the view was impeccable. The amenities was wonderful, and the service was phenomenal. The rooftop pool was our favorite part! Would HIGHLY recommend and hope to return soon! -K. Kawa

The rooftop pool for suite was great (very private, 24 hours open)
but breakfast was really poor.
After COVID, there's only few menus are serving.
You can only order two dishes, additional dishes will be charged.
It was my second stay (last stay was 3 years ago)
and there's no afternoon tea service for suite after COVID.
Even suite guests can't use Bann Borneo lounge anymore.
There's plenty of guest now, but I think they don't have any plans for re-opening.
A bit dissapointed.

Wonderful hotel, very kind staff, good service, great rooms and the panoramic swimming pool on the roof is the cherry on the top.
We will come back here for sure our next stay in Bangkok.
