Nice place, turtles were looked after very well. They hatch out the little ones to a certain size then release them back into the sea. However, the place is rather small and is only a 30 minute experience. The naval base is well looked after and it's a lovely drive to the turtle place. Commended on the work they're doing for the turtles. ????

My favorite leisure activities ever!! I learnt how to sail Laser boat 3 or 4 years ago. Every time that I had a chance to sail, I still was so excited cause I couldn’t predict what gonna happen in the ocean. I always visit here to sail the boat. If you are the beginner and would like to try, don’t be scared! Here’s a private coach to teach in term of theory and practical. The perfect time to sail is during summer time Jan - April. Winner is also fine. Here’s the family place to enjoy the weekend together. There’ also have a nice restaurant next to the club.

There was a naval officer, very passionate about turtle conservation that provided us with lots of interesting information about these endangered sea turtles. You can come volunteer for turtle scrubbing u0026 pool cleanup.

Hawksbill sea turtles are critically endangered species. 90% of turtles that hatched here in the gulf of Thailand will go hang out in the Philippines.. and 10% will be off to Vietnam..
They will return to lay eggs where they were first hatched.

Sea Turtles only mate in natural habitats, not in captivities..
The marines will go out to guard the turtle eggs day u0026 night till they hatch.. and bring the babies here to raise for 5-6months to help increase their chance of survival. This method has stated 70 yrs ago.
In the gulf of Thailand, only 3 islands in Chonburi (forgot the island names) are used by turtles to lay eggs .. Recently, they found one more island down south.

Beautiful place at the seaside. A lot of cute turtles you may nearly watch. And you could get fruitful and interesting knowledages for turtles. Very suitable for bringing kids together. You would get much fun with your kid. The more attractive thing is it is free. Hope you enjoy your stay there.

Great place to visit which has a nice restaurant with great views of the harbor. Informative aquatic presentation tanks and several live turtle viewing tanks showing the various stages of development.
