I had a lovely 4 night stay in a private room with shared bathroom. Very quiet at night, unless someone upstairs stomped their feet heavily lol. Perfect location and the hostel staff were kind and polite. Will definitely go back there!!

The hostel itself is not bad, but a little hard for me as an English speaker because only the reception person spoke English and he was often not at the front desk. So whenever I had an issue or needed assistance, I had to wait until he got back or the service lady would redirect me to someone else. But they wouldn’t fully understand what I needed help with either. The way that they charge laundry is also not very worth it unless you have a large load to wash, I did not like that system. They charged me extra to check in a few hours early (4 hours before check in time) even though they had empty beds that were set up already. The facility itself was decent, the atmosphere and service was lacking. I wouldn’t go back again.

Great location, average cleanliness.
Very near to BTS station and 711. Room is basic and acceptable cleanliness. Our room is only cleaned the 1st day, subsequent 2 days are not. Not sure why. The front counter is always empty at Building 2.

Really great hostel with decent and well put together private rooms. They are basic but suit the purpose well. Provided shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and hand soap in the room as well as 2 bottles of water per day and daily cleaning. The location is not more than a minute walk from the BTS station and is in a convenient area with street food and a 7-eleven not more than 5 minutes from their door. Great café right opposite as well operated by the hostel.

We booked with monomer hostel, and it was decent.

Pros: The room was clean, bathrooms were pretty clean, and staff was nice. We made delicious waffles using the batter and bananas provided! 5-10 min walk to BTS train stations, so it's pretty easy to get to.

Cons: When we booked a single private room the pictures made it seem more spacious and comfortable than it was. We ended up getting a pretty small room, where the bed was on a platform above the sofa (use a ladder to get to the bed). There was nothing to do in the room. u003c This review is based on our assumptions of the room based on the very nice pictures provided. Monomer did not intentionally mislead us.

You may get a room in any one of their buildings, not necessarily the one on the map when you search for Monomer. This didn't cause any issues, just be aware.

There were some VERY noisy guests staying in our building at the same time. Due to the nature of the building construction you can't get away from the noise. No fault of Monomer (they did try to find us another room)

Clean place, quiet enough aside from one guy not hearing the alarm going off right next to his head for 15 minutes. But that's what you get sometimes with a shared room. Otherwise, the staff was helpful and the accommodations were good and I enjoyed my stay.
