Despite its convenient location, the service was poor. For a conference in March, I stayed there. I checked out in the morning and couldn't find my card, so I requested that the hotel not charge me until I physically check out.
I received a missed call at about 10 a.m. (from a number I didn't recognize) and my credit card was charged (without my knowledge) despite the fact that the check-out time was 12 p.m.
I found the key and return it the same day after the meeting, and they assured me that everything was alright. I had no idea I had already been charged on that.
When I understood what had happened a few days later, I called them and they never returned my call.
I finally reached out to them after several efforts and was told that it was entirely my fault. My girlfriend works in a hotel and is familiar with the procedures. After speaking with them, the lady receptionist apologized and promised to refund the expenses.
I called several times before this review and they took notes and promised to get back to me, but they never did. I waited a month for them to return the key deposit, as promised. I'm just irritated because, despite the small amount of money involved, I felt awful for the hotel for not taking the client's treatment properly.
