Loved our stay here at Castle Black! The beds and pillows are THE comfiest we experienced during our 2 months in Thailand and our room was a good size with a brilliant shower. The staff were super helpful with everything and even helped use washing machine and print some documents out for our flight. Would definitely stay again if in Bangkok! Thank you

This is such a great place to stay. ???? Location is great. Not far from Ratchprarop station. Really easy to get to from the airport. It is also close to Victory Monument station and easy to get around. You can walk to Pratunam area where you can get clothes at very good price. Big market there and also the Platinum Fashion Mall. All wholesale clothing.

The Castle Black is really lovely. The people are so welcoming and make you feel really home. The rooms are perfect. We are a family of 6 and we had a 6 bunk room which was perfect. Very clean. Air conditioning. Great price for Bangkok. The beds all have their own light and curtain for sleeping. They also have charging points with usb sockets also. The whole place has been designed so well with every detail thought of. They have lockers in the room which you can store you stuff in if you are sharing with other people.

There is also a complimentary coffee corner with tea and coffee. Hot water. Bread to make toast and jam and butter. This was just perfect for us in the mornings. The kids loved it.

The communal area is great. They have a tv and big tables to sit at. There is also a pool table. In the evenings, people would cook their meals at the tables. The food always smelt amazing! It is surrounded with cabinets with really cool toys and collectors items which you could look at for ages. The kids loved this too!

There is also a great little bar just up the same street. It plays traditional Thai folk music and we had a lovely evening sitting in there, listening and drinking beer. And only a stones throw from Castle Black. Less than a minute walk. They also did food there but we didn’t eat anything. It looked nice though.

If you are coming to Bangkok, I would highly recommend staying here. It is just perfect in every way.

Amazing hostel in Bangkok. The service from the owners of the hostel is simply the best you can get in Thailand. On our way back from Koh Phangan to Bangkok, my girlfriend and I were in a bus accident. The bus collapsed to its left side after it had a blowout. It was a really bad experience, and the bus company gave us terrible service. When we arrived at Castle Black Bangkok, the owners arranged everything. The woman brought us to the closest hospital, and in the evening she even brought us food to the room. The sevice is really next level, it is fantastic! Next to the wonderful owners and great service, the room was clean, the bed was amazing, and we loved the shower. We had a private room. All in all, there really is nothing to complain. The location is also perfect for traveling from or to the airport. I really want to thank the owners of the hotel for the best service we have gotten in Thailand.

Friendly people and very professional. Loved the place. Great location and very clean. Highly recommend. If I’m ever back in Bangkok already have a place to stay.

This is the gem, the all-star, the hall of fame in the Bangkok hostel scene. Jimmy, the owner, and his team runs this modern, beautiful place with passion, quality, friendliness and humbleness. They went above and beyond making sure every guest has the most comfy, relaxing stays. I stayed in a private room that was fully equipped with freshly replaced or renovated amenities and features. The room and every other space, like toilet, hallway, laundry and common area, were spotlessly clean (kudos to the housekeeping crew). One more thing, Jimmy, the owner, kindly provided a drop-off service at the nearest metro station that connects straight to the airport. A pure 5-star experience at a humble price, I WILL DEFINITELY come back to this place!

Super friendly host and newly furnished room and clean linens u0026 towels, AC, coffee pot etc etc. The place is well maintained and other than a few mosquitoes, no cockroaches in sight during our stay.
Laundry is easy to use and also a new machine.
Within 10min walking distance to the BTS Victory Monument station and many local Thai restaurants with reasonable price points on the way... it’s really fun! I’d recommend this hotel.
