Hole in the wall family restaurant. Has English menus. Affordable price and very homely - you can even see the grandmas cooking from the seating area in the restaurant.

Nice and shaded, in a shop so you don't have to eat next to the street, this is a great place for a quick bite and also just to cool off after exploring the area and winding down with a great plate of food

Amazing food here. Best we had in Bangkok so far and full of flavor and herbs. The owners are also very kind. They let us try a few different things and gave us recommendations for nearby things to do. Great place to stop after going to the Grand Palace or Wat Arun.

Fresh and tasty home-cooked food. The honey-lime soda was also very refreshing - would recommend getting one to go too!

Economical and simple place but the food outshines with complex flavors. Basil pork and tomyam soup are standouts. Very reasonable prices too.

Thai Wang is a small restaurant right between the Grand Palace and Wat Pho. The menu includes Thai classics like pad thai, green curry, and tom young soup ranging from 80 to 130 bhat. Rice is 15 bhat extra. It's an excellent choice for a local feeling restaurant in the midst of tourist central.
