I came here looking for a place to work with my laptop. This wasn't the best because the glare from the window is so strong in the afternoon, and the A/C was blowing straight at me. Smaller than it looks in photos. Food menu is limited. The pizza was fine.

nestled parallel to the canal in the upper Khao San area amidst a few western influenced restaurants and boutiques is this new contemporary independent coffee house with that Amsterdam-Seattle feel, that are a welcome relief to the invasive plague of Starbucks that threatens the local culture and diversity.. very good thai grown coffee espresso drinks and food. the upstairs is an art gallery community space that you often find students meeting and has a home like charm to it. on my visit they did not have soy milk, so if you do not want bovine milk, you will have to bring your own for them to use, which is easy as every 7-11 has small aseptic cartons of soy milk that cost about 10 bhat (30 cents) something i found very helpful and easy to carry, as i was surprised to find that 90% of the cafés in Thailand, do not have soy milk. to get here from the BKK trains, you will have to take a ferry, tuk tuk, cab, or walk. the ferry piers to exit is Phanfa Bridge. there are several piers around siam square to catch one at or a tuk tuk can be found at the BTS or Airport train stations.

Ever imagined a perfect place for your lazy sunday afternoon ? This is the place for you.
Lying in the old town of Bangkok, with not many people knowing the place, the cafe would not be crowded but cozy place to spend your time in.
Never tried their foods, but the coffees are OK.
I deducted a star due to the price which is not suitable with Bangkokian's cost of living (around 80-120 B/cup)
PS. The gallery on 2nd floor and free bike rentals are big plus.
