This place actually opens at day time only. Since it is in the public park area then it has an open hours. But you can enjoy walking along the bridge if you visit at night. I went there on a new year so free of charges and get to see the fireworks up close.

It is the renovation of the original structure of Lavalin rails, which was incompletely built in
B.E.2527 (1984), to become the sky park with the passenger lifts, walkways, and bicycle lanes crossing the Chao Phraya River linked with commuting system of Thonburi side and Phra Nakhon side.
The size of the sky park is 280 meters in length, 8.50 meters in width with 0.80 meters setback distance from the driving lanes on both sides of the Phra Pok Klao Bridge, and the height measured from the ground level is 9 meters. Under the policy of Thailand's Prime Minister,
General Prayut Chan-Ocha, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (MA) has been assigned to implement the renovation project since BE. 2561 (2018). This project will be finished in June BE. 2563 (2020).

Nice elevated walkway which provides nice views of the river and the landscape. Popular spot for locals to come and rest u0026 relax. Worth a look if in the area. Especially at dusk

The Sky Park is a 280 meter landscaped pedestrian park/walkway across the river with 360 views of the city. It's been open since Summer 2020 and was created from an abandoned electric train bridge with vehicle bridges directly below on both sides. A great way to see Bangkok from a different perspective!

We timed our visit to try and catch a view of the sunset. Mother Nature cooperated with a beautiful light show. :)

Great place to view the city and river
Either day, night and sunset. It's a massive area so room is never an issue

Free entrance. A sky park built over Chao Praya river. Nice place to see sun set in the evening along with the view of Chao Praya river and high rise buildings.
On one side can see the view of high rise buildings along sides of river and on the other side can view the Temple and Memorial bridge over the river.
Overall it’s a nice place to capture good pictures.
