Nara Thai Cuisine Central Embassy

Situated on the 5th Floor of the trendy boutique Embassy Central Mall, the interior is slightly over.. and perhaps could be more warm with better lighting and brighter colors. Menu features a good selection of dishes. Tried the fried sea bass with garlic and herbs and it tasted good. Service was also good.

Modern Thai food restaurant comes with great service and excellent original Thai food. Even I’m Thai, but I felt the determination and meticulousness which expressed through food. Food is quite pricey. On my opinion, it’s worth to pay because of good taste. Perfect for business talk or foreigner.

Authentic Thai food with good taste and variety of options. Should try out their icecream with variety of assorted toppings. Their massaman curry is also of a great taste. Suitable for lunch meetings and recommended to make reservations before you visit as it could be quite crowded during peak hours. They also have vegetarian menu with variety of options.

Food choices are a lot and can be overwhelming but almost everything they served are really good. A bit pricey but you pay for the space, service and presentation. The satay is the best I've tasted. And the dessert buffet would be better with a bit of milk and syrup. I would come back to try more of the dishes. This branch btw is up the 5Th floor of Central Embassy mall.

I enjoy this place very much. Nara serves quality Thai food in a cosy and comfortable fashion. Not cheap compared to other restaurants, especially those more local ones; however, the food tastes good and never fails me!

The locatiions of the Nara chain of 5 restaurants were all along the premium belt Sukhumvit. They cater for the Upper hand Thai locals as well as foreigners. Therefore, the cuisines are more towards contemporary than authentic Thai cuisines. However, it is always crowded due to limited choice within the premium Malls.

Overall, quality of food is satisfactory but nothing special. Pricewise, is reasonable in considering of location inside a premium Mall. Not cheap , not expensive.

The service bell at each table is a good idea inconsidering such a busy shop.

I read some online reviews and recommended it to my friends when we traveled to Bangkok, it was a great embarrassment that the Nara was so so bad in terms of food, service and environment!

I did not expect a restaurant inside a shopping mall would allow flies - many flies in the dining area, and dare not imagining the condition in the kitchen!

The service in Nara was among the worst in Bangkok, perhaps we were unlucky that they first missed our reservation, then placed us in a barely air-conditioned area, and the waiting staffs were so inattentive. At the end, some dishes we ordered went missing but the heat and flies stopped us from staying longer; in fact, it did not worth spending the holiday time waiting for food not as good as what I could get in a Thai restaurant in Hong Kong.
