My second visit.
Very quiet and secluded.
Room old fashioned and very romantic.
Beautiful swimming pools and botanical gardens,also vintage car museum.
Staff very friendly and attentive.
Feels like a 5* hotel.
If you love peace and quiet this is the place for you.
If you need to be entertained then maybe not so.
Not cheap but very much value for money.

A gorgeous place with really nice food! It looks really posh and expensive but the food was relatively inexpensive. The aesthetics of the place is perfect for sitting around with your family and friends and have a look at the water that surrounds the out door restaurant. And OH MY GOD the collection of vintage cars and bikes was perfect to look at when you're waiting for food (ah yea the service was kind of lacking some enthusiasms but the place and food really made up for it).

Great Thai restaurant! Food was delicious, many selections definitely with a kick.

Large outdoor space with great views of the river, but we decided to eat indoors to avoid the intermittent spritzing (visited during the rainy season). The indoor dining space is also quite impressive. Very large and can easily accommodate big groups. Decor definitely not Asian and more colonial, plantation style. I liked it.

Bonus live music in the background, a duo on acoustic guitar with vocals. A nice experience.

Nice and lovely decoration❤️ I stayed at Pool villa one bed room plus extra bed for three persons. Good for family with small children. Staffs were nice and friendly.

Looking for a quiet get away while in Bangkok, this is it. Just make sure to be prepared for a quiet time as there is not much to do in the area except relax. The hotel is set in an old fort and is steeped in old world class, the restaurant is excellent and not over priced.
