The place looks like that of a 4-star hotel. It is very cozy and the receptionist was also accommodating. The airconditioner has to be set to 21 degrees C or lower on a high fan speed or else a foul odor could come out of it. Also, make sure that the sheets are changed before staying in that room. I'm giving this a 3-star review because I still enjoyed my stay despite being unable to check on the things I mentioned above.

Great place to stay. Off the main traffic area and a little harder to get there due to traffic.

Really nice hotel. I flew into Udon Thani airport and there was free pickup. The hotel is location in a quiet area about 10-15 minutes walk from the train station. There's free wifi. The room had a fridge, TV, kettle etc etc. Even a balcony. I got a good nights sleep. I went to the adjacent restaurant for breakfast. I had pork fried rice for 60 Baht. There was a mountain of it and I couldn't finish it. They gave me free water and 3 free bananas. I checked out and they asked where I was going and they offered me a free ride to UT's bus station 2 :-) Very kind since it's about 5km from the Lion King hotel. I managed to get a bus onto Loei thanks to this kind gesture. Thanks :-) I will stay here again if in UT again

Very well located place with english speaking stuff. Clean and spacy rooms with balcony. There is also Lion King restaurant in next building for breakfasts and some food. Location close to everything in the city, though quiet.

Very nice place to stay even if it's a little backside of the city. Couldn't find find better place in Udon for this price ......feel like 5☆ hotel. Very nice owners and staff.
